Clip 1. the slot wr runs a post, he has a safety over the top and the defender underneath went to the outside wr when he cut inside leaving the number 2 wr open. you see the corner pointing to the outside wr when he cut and the defender picked him up underneath leaving the slot open on the post with the safety behind him over the top

Clip 3 vs the gmen. when he shows where the first down line is look at the number 3 wr in the slot to the bottom of the screen. Thats as open as you are going to get. if the ball is out its a completion. the safety is over the top of the wr. underneath the defender again goes to the wr coming on a short cross from the top of the screen.

I think this thread needs to end.

There's no point in talking to dbuch. He's incapable of admitting when he is wrong, making him a poor conversant.

take off the JC glasses and watch the wr's. clip1 the slot wr on the post is open when he cuts and the defender goes to the outside wr in the shallow cross. bottom of the screen. i guess ill point it out and make it easy for you. look when the corner is pointing to the wr so the defender picks him up as the corner continues to cover deep

Pay attention! It has already happened. GTripp's analysis of the clips was far superior to yours. You've ALREADY been demonstrated as mistaken. The only thing missing is a self-critical ability on your part.

Besides, your analysis diverges from Wilcots's analysis, despite the fact that you have already described Wilcots's presentation as proof. Therefore either you or Wilcots is mistaken and it doesn't matter who. You have produced mistaken statements either way, although you continue to disclaim responsibility for them.

A real man is capable of admitting when he is wrong. Again, the only thing missing is a self-critical ability on your part.

I stand by these comments because I have video and video is proof. :)
This looks terrible because Wilcots puts a #2 on Thrash before the play. But wait, Thrash was running a clear out, he doesn't even look back at the quarterback. That's not a read in the progression, he's supposed to take the safety out the play. That's his job.

When attacking a Cover 2 look thats what you look for, the corner release when the safety is moving over the top. thats when the window opens during that transition.

This is a designed play called by Zorn that the Giants sniffed out. ALL THREE DEEP RECEIVERS ARE ON CLEARS, AND ALL THREE ARE PROPERLY COVERED

One on one coverage. sorry man but this is the NFL, you arent going to have WIDE open wr's very often.
On this play you (and Wilcotts) are asking Campbell to make a 30 yard throw, from the opposite hash, to the sideline, with a safety in cover two with no mid field threat. 2 things would have happened, the ball would have been intercepted or James Thrash would have retired that Monday because his body would have been broken in half by the safety.

Ths first clip wasnt a cover 2 boys and girls. the corner keeps dropping back. LOOK AT THE VID. he points while he continues to drop back in deep coverage to the wr that cuts underneath on the cross. meanwhile the defender picks him up as the slot runs the post. he is OPEN with the safety over the top.

clip 1.if you stop it and look at it the slot wr. his defender is 10 yds off and keeps that cushion as the wr starts his route.

I could probably knock out Mike Tyson if I had a complete day to look at the film of him beating my ass first. All I need is a time machine.

Sadly, not even NFL players have that luxury so they have to rely on practice and instincts. You may be able to dissect the film now, play armchair QB and tell everyone what he should have done. The fact is that you could not have done it yourself if placed in that situation. There are not many people that can.

While I may be a Colt Brennan advocate, in no way do I know for certain that he could have done better in that situation. We have not seen him play in an actual NFL football game. I liked him out of college and he impressed against players that he should have in preseason. I think that his accuracy and instincts are better than JC's. However, until Colt actually starts a game we will not know for sure. Quite honestly, JC hasn't done enough to lose his job just as Colt hasn't done enough to earn it.
It's all in the video!!! :soapbox:

LOL. :laughing2
Wow. I am just getting to this video. Those 3rd down stats are astonishingly bad. I've seen some of the posts rationalizing this analysis, but the video clearly points out flaws in JC's game. Receivers don't need to be all-world to be "open" (a relative term in the NFL), particularly against zone defenses. He clearly has time to throw and the receivers are clearly in a position to make a play. Down 16 points in the 4th quarter and still dinking and dunking is inexcusable. Maybe Gibbs ruined him by making him petrified of turnovers.

I think JC's got all the ability to be a good NFL QB. He just needs to take more chances and stop worrying about making mistakes. Hell, the plays he missed aren't even risky. They're very run of the mill.
answer me this along with my other previous questions before I answer your foolish and biased questions;
Okay
where would you all rank JC among the other 31 starting QBs in the NFL 1 being the best?
11-15 range.
Redskingirl has no meaning to this conversation cause she asked me to name every QB that's better than JC in the playoffs, and I said all of them are, plus she's getting her stats from NFL.com so I coils careless about what a girl has to say about my redskins
Well, the point is you gave a terrible and biased answer, because you don't even know who was in the playoffs last year. Kerry Collins, Joe Flacco, Ben Roethlisberger, Jake Delhomme and Tavaris Jackson all quarterbacked teams in the playoffs. Only ONE of those players was better in the regular season than Campbell. One. That means Campbell would have been the ninth best playoff Quarterback based only on 2008 results.

Telling you which one of them it was kinda defeats the purpose, as they all got there on the coattails of their teams. I'd rather just have you mindlessly speculate with limited information. It's been pretty enjoyable to this point.
Someone said that them and that skins girl are more knowledgeable than I am in football, and they are still wrong I spend hours watching the skins over and over again checking what they did wrong etc etc and can tell you lots about offense defenses who to play and lots of football facts especially about college and the NFL
See, you've already come on here and conclusively proven that you can't put coherent thoughts together, so it really doesn't matter how much film you watch, does it?

You're also lying.

As for the administrative stuff, sounds like you have a ban coming.

The stats are unbiased, they show the ineffectiveness of our passing game on third down. Unfortunately for you, Campbell does in fact have to rely on his teammates, and realistically shares only a small part of the blame.
