Re: Arizona RB Tim Hightower traded to Redskins.
I expect Bobby Turner will be screaming at him daily until it's fixed. But I'm not sure it's as big a deal as we're making it early. He had five fumbles last season, but he went a lot of games without having one. They were spaced out.
I'm not too worried about it right now.
I am. Any guy with the faintest possibility of being fumble prone scares the bejesus out of me. (Side note on capitalization, Bejesus, BeJesus?) That can be the make or break for any game, especially giving it away close to your own end zone. |

sexy rexy must scare the ever living s outta you and tryful yours post got me curious so i just randomly looked up a few guys and while you might be right about the league average, i would say that the top teir backs only lose the ball maybe every 1 in 100 carries. arain foster for example is 113.75 carries inbetween each fumble, even guys like fred taylor who has been in the league over 12 years only fumbles every 104 touches. i had no idea hightower was this fumble prone, it will def be something to keep an eye on |
Re: Arizona RB Tim Hightower traded to Redskins.
I wasn't to crazy about Hightower. When we first acquired him I saw it as kind of a 'meh' move. After watching him though I have to say the potential is there for him to break out in this system. Hightower could easily be the best move of the offseason

I agree with you but if he can catch the ball out of the backfield he will be a monster |
Re: Arizona RB Tim Hightower traded to Redskins.
Bring back Portis. Thus guy can't secure the ball.

Re: Arizona RB Tim Hightower traded to Redskins.
...Anyone noticed that he hasn't put the ball on the ground in like, five days, and we're all still talking about the fumbling problems?

If Shanny isn't worried about the fumbling problem, thus we should not be! |

My uncle hasn't had a drink in 7 days, now what? |
Re: Arizona RB Tim Hightower traded to Redskins.
Your uncle could now go 7 years without having a drink if he so wishes. Just like Hightower can learn to secure the ball.
p.s. it's probably harder for your uncle to give up drinking than it is for Hightower to stop fumbling. |
