Re: We Want Dallas! 2011 Thread
Another transaction I missed due to the wild and crazy free agent period. Hey does anyone remember Pete Kendall? Good times.
I always wondered if they shot them up with local anesthetics. I had some back in February when I stepped on a glass and had to get stitches on the bottom of my right foot, couldn't feel a thing. If they can give him something like that then it won't matter how many times D-Hall hits Romo's ribs. Still I can totally picture Romo on Sunday (he'll be changing his number to 19). [YT]XdOiF_qdQLI[/YT]
But if Im correct, anesthetics wont help if 1 or 2 lungs collapes cuz of getting punctured.. and in that case he would not play or continue to play. Don't get me wrong, i want romo to be slow at moving and hurting while hes on the field.. hit him often and hard.. i just dont like the fact that backups come in and more often than not burn us.. like a yr or 2 ago when we played pittsburgh, we had rothlesburger struggling, but leftwitch, if im correct came in and they won. |
just wondering , why is it that the only game that is missing on yahoo odds page is the Redskins/Cowchips game? usually any monday night game is put up by tuesday before

Ive never heared a professional quarteback get so disrespected like Rex Grossman is getting down here. Every single Cowboy fan calling him trash and worthless, saying they're gona win just because the Skins have Grossman. I hope he has the game of his life.

Re: We Want Dallas! 2011 Thread
Hey, at least Grossman isnt a walking triage clinic.

Re: We Want Dallas! 2011 Thread
I sure wish Sean Taylor was here. Romo wouldn't play. RIP #21

I dont think it's jumping on the Skins bandwagon. Just getting noticed and a wait and see attitude. Contenders or Pretenders.... In any case it's nice to see that they are competative. |
Thank you for your service. I did a couple of tours in Kabul before I retired and know just how challenging it is to keep up with the league.
Again, thanks for your service. Keep chargin'.
Yeah, I remember back in the 80's in Germany when they'd have a delayed broadcast of a game. I'd go all day trying not hear who won. In the 70's when AFN would have a ball game on the radio the North Koreans would jam the radio frequency. Guess I regressed there. |
Re: We Want Dallas! 2011 Thread
Keys to the game: Both these teams have made its fair share of errors and expect more of the same being our first road test, but the key will be the health of Romo.
Defense must stop the run. I expect the Cowgurls to try to run the ball to take pressure of Romo. I fully expect Romo to play. If the Skins can keep Dallas from runnin in the first half of the game, Romo will have to throw and that when we should come after him looking for the turnover. Offense should come out aggressive and throw the first punch on the road. Maybe a little razzle dazzle when we cross the fifty. Oline play will be pivotal with protection schemes playing well. I fully expect the Dallas gameplan to come after the skins inducing "bad rex". I kinda expect both teams to struggle running the ball, but we will see. If our special teams play bad, we lose. Gano needs to play a complete game hitting every field goal opportunity, no stupid penalties or turnovers on teams. Sav needs to play well. I think this is more of a defensive stuggle, Skins 19 Dallas 17 |

Looks like Romo will play. I'm sure he'll be pumped full of meds, I know I would be.

That board, which I do look at often, is in my opinion the epitome of Cowboys fans. They are mostly reasonably smart, know their team, and so damn smug that it makes you hate them even more. You would think that, rather than having only won 1 playoff game in 15ish years, they were consistently in the SB/Div championship games. Now I will give them that Sean Lee has had a helluva season so far, but the rest of their belief in their team rises out of love for the star. I so hope we put a huge beatdown on them, but they already have the injury excuses running high. |
