Re: Who Do You Want to Be The Head Coach?
HC experience and what he's done with a struggling Rivers and SD offense. He's easily the best coordinator and HC prospect seen this wknd.
Gruden is the worst of the wknd. He's probably the guy no other franchise wants (haven't heard him linked to any other franchise) and with BA's link to Jon it's probably like a favor to Jay. Do you think Jon could be testing us out through Jay though?
I'm sure Mike McCoy has nothing to do with the San Diego's success Uhhh...what?! |
Re: Who Do You Want to Be The Head Coach?
So Whisenhunt has HC experience. That's great. We just fired a guy with twice as much. And what has Wiz done without Warner?

Re: Who Do You Want to Be The Head Coach?
^ He won a playoff game today. Against a team with three other Redskins HC candidates.

If you're seriously holding a DUI from 8 years ago over his head as a reason not to hire him, I'd say do some more homework. |

C'mon chotchi, I'm asking a serious question. Try to give a serious answer. Why is Gruden a good HC prospect? |

Why is he not a good HC prospect? |

This thread is turning into seven flavors of stupid.

Re: Who Do You Want to Be The Head Coach?
All of these candidates are all pretty close and are unknown to what they can bring to this team. At least this thread does bring some humor to it, I dont care who they hire. I cant wait to they do so we can move on into the offseason and wait until March to talk about FA, then May for the draft.

It was seven flavors of stupid on page 14. |

Again, nothing special about his offense above the big time playmakers he has to work with. No HC experience. That team is led by the defense and defensive coaching. On a personal level I hate the drunk driving. Seen too many lives ruined by it. I think the only way Gruden gets an HC job is because of his brother and all the connections to BA, which means he's our guy. Maybe Cleveland would take a chance on him because it's such a shit franchise but even that I doubt. |
Re: Who Do You Want to Be The Head Coach?
I'd like to see how Gruden would scheme around rg3 ability as a runner. When you talk about other OC coaching candidates, bevell and say like roman, these guys have develop athletic qb with the ability to gain large chunks on the ground. Could Gruden do that with the 3rd or would he go the route of dalton development in a more traditional pocket passer?

Re: Who Do You Want to Be The Head Coach?
Wait, if jay Gruden is the front runner for the skins HC position, is this why they haven't let go of Haslett?
