He has. However he also had the ankle injury midway thru - couple that with the fear of ruining your future and a shit season for MSU and it is easy to see why. It is certainly not a plus, but maybe he is a totally different pro?
Bucky Brooks of the NFL network called McDowell the #1 boom or bust prospect in the draft yesterday. - he takes plays off- and frequently is not in the picture on tape.....quits, instead of pursuing the ball to big of a risk at #17 |

McCaffrey is visiting. Great article by Keim highlights: He could be an excellent complement to both Kelley and Chris Thompson. McCaffrey is bigger than Thompson and faster and quicker than Kelley. He’s also more versatile, with an ability to run routes from the slot or out wide. It’s one thing to line up out there; it’s another to run good routes from multiple spots. That’s what separates McCaffrey When Thompson enters the game, defenses almost always are in a sub package. With McCaffrey, the Redskins could regulate a defense, keeping it in a base look by using a two-tight end, two-receiver set. They could then create mismatches in the passing game with these targets: McCaffrey, tight ends Jordan Reed and Vernon Davis and receivers Jamison Crowder and Terrelle Pryor (or Josh Doctson). CBS Sports draft analyst Dane Brugler compared McCaffrey to ex-Eagles running back Brian Westbrook. Their dimensions are almost identical (McCaffrey is an inch taller; Westbrook was a pound heavier). Another name that I’ve heard, in terms of how McCaffrey should be used: Reggie Bush. A swiss-army knife back, but perhaps not great as just a runner. |
Yes. I think all three will be there at 17 too.
Not Fournette. He is the only one of the three who could be a true feature back. A team that wants to emphasize the run will snatch him up early. |

And, no, I'm not saying he is a future HOF'er. |

to big of a risk at #17
KI mentioned it. Same response I gave him. When you have an injury, know you are a first round pick, and play on a crappy team - u are not going to give it ur all. See 2015 for this guys true performance capabilities. |

I see Brian Westbrook, myself. |

easily the Eagle player I respected most of all time. I would love to get a similar talent on our side. I think the key with McCaffery is his hands. Having McCaffery motion in and out the backfield is key. Playing the match up game on first and second downs...making the opponents switch d calls frees up guys like Reed and Crowder to wreak havoc in the middle of the field. |

Unfortunately he is most likely going to play for Brian's team. |
I see Brian Westbrook, myself.
I'm with you on the Westbrook, a better Danny Woodhead, Reggie Bush, Warrick Dunn but I really see Doug Baldwin, Randall Cobb, Pierre Garcon, Tyrek? Hill....I see a tough WR |

A lot of mocks have us picking him right now. I saw one mock that had us picking Watson, Clemson QB, thinking it might give us more leverage with Cousins and if Cousins ends up walking we have a QB who might end up being very good. Cleveland needs a QB and has 2 1st round picks including #1 which they'll use on Miles Garrett because you just can't pass him up. Do you think we could package a deal for their 2 #1's and get Garrett and Watson? Would you do it? I want Cousins here but I'm not sure wtf management is thinking. |

I just looked at some Westbrook highlights and I must say McCaffery does indeed strongly resemble Westbrook in his running style. |
Re: 2017 Draft Prospects
i saw mac attack be compared to westbrook, then i saw cook be compared to faulk and i was like whuh.

yeah, a Faulk-type talent would be too much to pass by. I'm thinking he'll be gone by #17, but if he isn't, we should pounce. |
