OSU QB Justin Fields has confirmed to NFL teams during the pre-draft process that he is managing epilepsy – a neurological disorder that can cause seizures, per me and
@TomPelissero . It has not affected football & doctors believe he’ll outgrow it as his other family members have.
Good to know for 31 other NFL teams. |

Re: Pre Draft Thread 2.0
Did 2 sims.
I love the first one but then I realized I picked a THIRD safety in the last round, so I re-did it. The TE from Michigan is actually a FB..he'd actually be a Chris Cooley type player for us. I left QB go to late in the draft and only Texas QB Sam Ehlinger was left, and I passed. He could be an UDFA candidate. QB is not an immediate need. Re: Pre Draft Thread 2.0
Addicting.
Making sure we fix the LB positions. Also drafted a WR from the RED WOLVES. And this might be my most interesting draft yet and I finally took a QB, along with his college LT who is 6'9", 315 pounds with the best lineman name ever....Stone Forsythe! Re: Pre Draft Thread 2.0
I have no problem with this draft list. Seems pretty good. But if this is how they go, they better get busy in the remaining FA market to find some linebackers.

Re: Pre Draft Thread 2.0
Well, I should clarify my post. If they go with the Darrisaw first approach, they should get busy in the UFA linebacker market.

And a surprise Javian Hawkins from Louisville pick (who I honestly think would be a great fit in the O). And Zaven Collins in pick one! But in all seriousness ... solid efforts all around. Your first re-do is prolly the best. We have lots of paths we could take. It'll be a fun draft to follow. |
Re: Pre Draft Thread 2.0
I'd go O line -Christian Darrisaw (if he's there at 19) or Alijah Vera-Tucker
LB---JOK or Jamin Davis Tre Brown CB Peter of NFL Network's GMF had WFT taking RB Travis Etienne is an odd choice for the FIRST ROUND #19 pick---we have more pressing needs for the top spot....RB okay in later rounds.... As far as QB Im kinda cheering for my hometown guy, Kellen Monds as a late round pick to sit and learn behind Fitz.... |

Re: Pre Draft Thread 2.0
The first 2 picks are set in stone.. If SF takes mac Jones, It would really start to get interesting

Nah. Can't rebuild entire roster in one year. We aren't contending for SB with our QB situation, Fitzmagic not winning anything in terms of the big dance. Maybe 1 year stopgaps on cheap, but if it takes one more year to fill LB, so be it. There are also certainly players outside 1st FO has targeted. I think we take 2 LBs somewhere in draft, one thumper for middle, one coverage, and you hope we find a Gibson or McL, a later pick that still is solid starter. I would rather have an elite LT than an elite LB, especially in 4-3 where they don't rush. |
Re: Pre Draft Thread 2.0
We have one elite player, Young.
Our focus should be finding talent, not position. |
