Re: NFL Coaching Trees
(I would have posted it but as a relative newcomer I did not want to risk a verbal beat down like that young kid was getting yesterday)
70Chip - As a fellow Manasshole, I would encourage you to speak your mind freely and openly. Don't worry about what you post. Just worry about the 75 "Moderators" we now have. |

I love this sort of historical stuff as I think TAFKAS does. Others seem to prefer discussing pie. I'm all about League History, Playcalling, and Announcer-Hating. Also, I definitely think there is a teriffic book in all these relationships. My experience has been that when I have an idea that I think would make a good book, the book comes out about 6 months later. (The original concept for "Bridges of Madison County" was mine, man!) |

Re: NFL Coaching Trees
I know he's more known now for being an owner, but Al Davis should figure pretty prominently. I think he was an assistant under Sid Gillman, and Madden and Walsh were both assistants under him.

Re: NFL Coaching Trees
This is a gem. Thanks for preparing it. I'm going to link to it on my blog so I can always find it.
