Alright guys, I'm opening this thread up for comments, feel free to give your own grades, rip mine apart, etc.

I'll get started on the defense soon.

i think saying doc is only slightly better than hall and was as bad as royal is a little harsh. I say doc is deserving of a B- or better atleast. Otherwise i agree with most of them.

Antonio brown a C-. Does anyone still like this guy?? i still do. I think NFL europe will make him one mean catching machine. He doesn't cost much and i think he is fine for kick returns but then again so is betts.

also if you do give out A+s both my man Portis and expecially Randy thomas should get em

Randy Thomas - A+++.

It can't be stressed enough how important he is to our team. Best offensive lineman we have, by far.

I ALSO challenge you a duel! BSB made me pull out the dueling gloves today...

On a more serious note, it's good info. Only thing I'd change is that I'd either give Patten a grade or make Novak incomplete.

PS Matty, nice job with these report cards. I enjoy reading them.

The grades are exclusive to the position... OL compared to OL, RB's to RB's, etc. Don't get too caught up with comparing across positions, to me that's like comparing apples to oranges.

Yet one more thing that separates WP from other fan sites.

Thanks for the good work, especially when I'm looking for things to read about the Redskins.

Got bored at work and started making these just in case anybody had a high-res printer and wanted to print out Matty's grades just for the hell of it...

I would probably give John Hall a "B" if his kickoffs were not so short. I guess I wish we had Hall for FG/XP duties and then a new punter who could kickoff. I live close to Nashville TN, and the Titans use to do that alot. Craig Hendrich was the punter who handled kickoff duty and Joe Nedney was the FG/XP guy. When Nedney got hurt, Hendrich could fill in during an emergency.
Quick Hitters:
Taylor Jacobs - a former first round draft pick, Jacobs could be on his last legs with the Redskins. When Patten went down Jacobs had a golden opportunity to step in and claim the job, but he did nothing but solidify the opinions fans have formed about him. Soft, lacking confidence, often injured... 3 traits that will get you run out of town very quickly in any NFL city.

Grade: F
he was a 2nd round pick, though projected as a low 1st rounder on ssome draft boards.
