I read a few things Carter said and I think the Redskins are not his first choice! Denver looks to be it where he will be today.

cuts, re proration over an extra year, turning option and roster bonuses into signing bonuses (to prorate them), taking high base salaries and turning them into SBs too. could clear 19-26 million in space (and push cap problems back a few years).

without a new cba, the 30% rule owned us and turning certain bonuses into SB didn't work.

without a new cba we could have been royally screwed though ;) luckily gibbs was here so players were willing to help out.
