Re: Cowboys Release Keyshawn, in Hunt for TO?
Chad, next in line to be a Loud Mouth causing problems getting cut mid season.
Also if I was a Dallas fan I would be pissed about signing TO, especially after what he did to the Stars. Not that I respect the stars, that reminds me, anyone want to take a road trip to Irving and take a #2 mid field? |
Re: Cowboys Release Keyshawn, in Hunt for TO?
According to Dallas radio stations, T.O. is reportedly in the Dallas area right now.
They can have him, I'd love to see ST and Arch roughing him up
he is a star right, sounds great to me although he doesn,t have brett farve throwing him the ball like he mentioned last year. with our defense bring him on and the rest of the boyz. |
Re: Cowboys Release Keyshawn, in Hunt for TO?
Everyone here should know my opinion of Eagles fans by now (hint - I don't think highly of them). But, if the Cowboys sign TO, I would pay good money to go to Lincoln Field on for their Dallas game. The booing would be deafening. Also, I expect TO would be gang-raped the moment he stepped off the bus.

I wouldn't bet against you on that one. |
Re: Cowboys Release Keyshawn, in Hunt for TO?
Good...Sean Taylor can still hit T.O. in the mouth twice a year.
|
Re: Cowboys Release Keyshawn, in Hunt for TO?
Just some interesting stats: In TO's last three games against the Skins, he has totalled 10 catches for 103 yards and 1 TD (which is an average of 3.3 catches/ 34.3 yards/ .3 TDs per game). If the Cowgirls think he's the answer to their prayers, they better keep praying when they face us.

Re: Cowboys Release Keyshawn, in Hunt for TO?
I just like the fact that twice a year we get the chance for Taylor to wipe him out. It might not come in the first or even the second game but its coming. The more we see him the more likely its going to happen or it might just happen every game. One thing about TO he is not scared and will leave himself open to some nasty hits from Taylor.

Excellent point. But, I think the Cowboys have more offensive weapons than the Eagles - giving T.O. more chances to get open. Nevertheless, I look forward to the signing. Does anyone think T.O. will keep his cool when the Cowboys lose a few games, Bledsoe starts throwing with a limp arm in the 4th quarter, or Parcells plays a conservative run-first game? |
Re: Cowboys Release Keyshawn, in Hunt for TO?
ok I don't know why some are calling KJ a bitch he has been a class act since he signed with Dallas sure he has had some adburst but thats because the media allways point at him to sell that image just tipical game reactions that we all have.
He never disrispected the franchise and played his heart out gave everything on the field.... really I'm really upset he got cut you allways want players with passion i nyour team that give all and do all even the dirtty work, and hate losing his adbusrt where because he hates losing. There are players that are in it for the money he was in it for the game. |

He's just starting a new resume. It won't last long my friend, before you know it he'll be wearing another uniform posing on that stupid star. |

Man I wasn't talking about T.O we all know he's in it for the Money,Media, Showbiz and TV time, he want's his 15 mins so bad he does anything to get it. I was talking about Keyshawn Johnson (KJ) I said he's the type off player that isn't for the money, don't get me wrong that doesn't mean he'll play for free even thought he made so little last year for his production. But that he's the type of player that would do all the dirty work.... just like Washington in your team you know that's a player that just loves the game does Pro bowl numbers even if he doesn't getthe props and its a total team player that gives his hearth out in every game. |

OK, maybe bledsoe brought it on, but you can't blame the media for negative press when you make your name by writing a book, "just give me the damn ball" blaming the media is a weak excuse for egotistical behavior. That said, Keyshawn has grown up in dallas & has played well, blocks & makes tough catches. While I won't call him a "class act" he's been a good fit for them & I think they're making a big mistake if they go after TO. I read that Keyshawn wanted an extension & maybe there were some riffs w/mgmt. After all, we know he's capable of running his mouth louder than any agent can for him! |
