he was like my favorite player when he was on the team and i really hope he does well in new york (but too bad he probably won't because their team blows)

But geez o' flip skins? What's up with the Buy-High, Sell-Low concept? THat only works on wall street. Really, isn't he worth more than a 6th rounder, even if he doesn't start?

My only reasonable explanation to this is that the redskins are planning or already trying to sign another free-agent and use that cap money for the signing bonus/salary. And they have to have that cap space right now.

Yup, agreed. Just a prediction that the cap space that was freed by his trade would be used in part to sign another free agent that may happen soon.
