Re: GMU Wins!!!
anyone thinking championship??
Look who they beat to get here! |
Re: GMU Wins!!!
the patriots are now definitely battle-tested... even though they've never made it to the 4 before, they had also never won a tourney game. anything is possible now.

Re: GMU Wins!!!
OMG! GMU is good, very good, UCONN was lucky to still be in the game. I honestly don't see any team in the tournament with more cohesion and determination to win. If UCONN was the declared champion, who is now?

Re: GMU Wins!!!
I am a believer. Maryland is my team, but I'll root for any team from the D.C. Metropolitan area. These guys have balls the size of coconuts. They make the best teams look like confused, reactionary players who haven't a clue on how to stop Butler, Lewis and Thomas. Thomas resembles Darrell Green. I hope George Mason wins the whole thing. They deserve it after the way other teams criticized the NCAA for inviting them to the dance. Dance on, GM, dance on!

The answer is Villanova with LSU and close second. Villanova have three awesome guards who will run the hell out of Skinn and Butler. The key is Jai Lewis and Thomas. If they can feed the ball down low and work from that point, it opens up the three-poiner for Skinn. I'm confident that GM can beat Villanova, that LSU has a human fly swatter in Tasmin Thomas. This dude can jump out of the gym. |
Re: GMU Wins!!!
we got our own little circle of royal teams in the washington area. GW GMU UMD and G-town. That is really cool.
they are not all in the same conference like in NC so we can cheer for all of them. One day a final four of all of them :D |
Re: GMU Wins!!!

I'm not sure about Villa cause I think GMU has just as fast and deadlier shooters at 1 and 2. LSU scares me though. Jai won't be able to push around big Baby like he can most of the big men he faced. |
Re: GMU Wins!!!
i couldn't stop watching... holy crap. they can beat anyone. I'm kinda pissed they almost single handedly destroyed my bracket, but their my team, so i'll get over it.

Re: GMU Wins!!!

If anyone on earth got all final four teams, they litterally deserve like a million dollars. |

it'd have to be a smart/lucky guy that's also a totally helpless and blatant GM homer... there's no other way. |
Re: GMU Wins!!!
What a friggin win!!!! They match up well against Florida. I think if there is a let down, this could be the game.
Get pass Florida and they win the whole damn thing!! |
