Re: F*** this draft coverage
I both agree and disagree with you. When I turned on ESPN last night and they were holding their "mock draft" i thought that was freaking ridiculous. thats the definintion of overboard coverage.
BUT, i would rather hear about this every minute of every day than have to watch another generic ass replay of some meaningless baseball game or highlights of 1 game in a boring series of 7 for the NBA. Just my 2cents...
I agree with you my man 100%. This is truly the age of information overload, and it's not just football related. I thought Wilbon wrote an interesting article in the Post this past week about the hype of the draft. Sometime's too much of something is worse than none at all. I don't preferably deal in speculation or predictions which in many ways render most of the pre-draft rhetoric just that. |
Re: F*** this draft coverage
hooskins...your steven A smith analysis was spot on. espn is trying to be all hard as fvck with guys like him and sean salisbury, just yelling and calling you an idiot if u dont agree with them

Re: F*** this draft coverage

Re: F*** this draft coverage
I bet if ESPN cut back on their coverage there would be people complaining that there was no good coverage on the NFL draft.
My brother and I couldn't stop laughing. I didn't know if he was supposed to be some gay model or if he was Neo from the Matrix. All I know is, the leather gloves were a nice touch. :silly: |
Re: F*** this draft coverage
haha yeah that was hilarious, Im sure he isnt feeling so model like right now, seeing that he is not even in the top 5 lol.
at least he wasn't an aaron rogers |
Re: F*** this draft coverage
I can't get excited about watching something in which sports agents play a prominent role. Sports agents with multiple cell phones sitting on the couch with the whole extended family of their pigeon, I mean client, waiting to hear the cash register ding. And that fat fool Berman. I STARTED disliking him about five years ago and it has since blossomed into full blown contempt.

Re: F*** this draft coverage
I watched NFL Network's coverage and found it to be a nice change from ESPN. Anyone else feel the same way?

From time to time it was. But if Mel isn't giving me rapid fire profiles on the picks I don't feel right. |

Re: F*** this draft coverage
OK. I getting tired of the constant remiders of Mario Williams and Reggie Bush. Give us more info with others or continue to break down team-addressed needs.
