Re: Do you think Lavar is Okay.....
No body but LaVar and organization know why he didn't play until halfway through the season, its unfair for any of us to say why this and why that. The fact is he is with the G-men now, and desperately wants to prove all his critics wrong about not being a force at LB in the NFL. That is every athlete in any sport around the world. If anyone questions their ability, they go out and work extra hard to prove people wrong. In this case, he gets to prove it twice a year, which is what he wanted from the get go. I admire his competativeness , and heart to prove people wrong. I do admit being a little worried about him being extra motivated playing us. He has dropped almost 20 lbs and is getting back to his original playing weight before the injury. I think any athlete with a heart and pulse would be motivated to play their old team. I for one can not weight to see how this plays out. I am a Redskin fan for life, and this just makes the rivalry that much more exciting.
Good points, but the real question we're all waiting for is.......what are you going to do with the #56Fan?? |

I have no freaking idea. I can probably change it, but no one would really know who I was if I changed it. And I like all the sh*t I get from time to time. |
Can we just stop the madness?
LaVar is gone.
What else am I supposed to do during the day? Work?! I personally just disliked his comment about the Redskins "not being about football." Yeah, Joe Gibbs is TOTALLY not about football. |

You're like his temporary representative for him at this site. |

He probably needs to filter some of the things that come out of his mouth. |
Re: Do you think Lavar is Okay.....
I dunno how many people haved watched the interview but he seems a little crazy in it. I dont know whether I should pity him, or be intimidated. He could always pull a Aikman, and knock Bunell out.

I hope his days of knocking players out are long past him. |
Re: Do you think Lavar is Okay.....
I think there will be a lot of pressure on Arrington to do well with the giants. If a rb or te makes a big play on his side, everyone will be looking to see where Arrington was positioned on the play. His play will be dissected more than he realizes with the giants and probably more than he was when he was with the skins.

Very true. The pressure will be pretty great in NY. But I think Lavar will be up to it. I don't care about him talking trash. Every usually on talks trash on there X. |
Re: Do you think Lavar is Okay.....

Based on that incentive laden contract he signed with the G-men his A game is going to be needed for sixteen games. Pro Sports Talk has laid out all the provisions of his contract for it's duration, and the first two years are going to be very telling for LaVar. No one ever said LaVar knows what to say, or when to say it, as a result I don't think many true Skins fans are too much concerned about his talk. |
Re: Do you think Lavar is Okay.....
this is insane.the man left the redskins,by his choice.repeat after me,he DOESNT play for the skins anymore.lets talk about the players we do have
|
Re: Do you think Lavar is Okay.....
some people are a bit to super hyper sensitive about anyone even mentioning the skins in any way.
what do you expect? every player in the league to talk about how great and awesome the skins are and how terrible their teams are in comparision? he's not playing to the DC audience anymore, and sucking up to us now is pointless. |
