Re: Why not Ty Law

I think there is a very low chance he will end up with us-- he may come to us with a low salary, 1 year deal, if he wants to join a playoff team with a lot of upside. Given Springs history of injury, Law might start some games this year. He would nice to have, but I can't see it happening.

Although it's interesting to fathom, there are no more serious discussions between us and Ty than any other team. (Translation: none) Basically, all logical pro or con reasoning aside, it ain't gonna happen.

Re: Why not Ty Law

I heard he wants to retire as a Patriot and was visiting with them in the last week.

Apparently, he's willing to take a little less money to end his career as a Patriot after he demanded too much money from them in the past.

Just that he's thinking about retirement makes me not want him on the Skins. He's getting old and it would probably end up like another Deion Sanders signing for us. We've made great moves this offseason, but Ty Law wouldn't be one of them. Besides, he doesn't fit into Gibbs' idea of good character for the team. That's why Lavar sat last year and we didn't cry when he left. We want team players, not self-promoters.

And I think that's why he wanted a reported $10 million his first year.
it wouldnt hurt if we could add him to the mix
Welcome whummel!

His $$$ demands would hurt.

We drafted Reed Daughty FS, N Colorado.

Signed Chijioke Onyenegecha, CB, Oklahoma and Chris Hawkins, CB, Marshall.

You want DBs, we got'em.

A few years ago Danny would have jumped all over Law... thankfully those days are long gone.
