Re: Fantasy Football Keeper League Question

The thing that worries me about going QB, is that Larry Johnson was a Keeper in our league (drafted late last year) so that Owner already will have a huge advantage going into the season being about to keep L.J. and picking up another first rounder with the 5 or 6th selection. That owner should have 2 powerhouses at the RB position. I am in the next best position with a top 5 RB already on my team, another top 10 RB in that position may carry me for most of the year. I won my 10 team league with S. Alexander and C. Portis as my 2 starters each week. I had an average WR corp and Bledsoe at QB. Cooley was my TE and a nice surprise last year and my KR and DT were servicable. RB's win championships. I watched it happen with my team last year.
Would you take Reggie Bush in the first round? It seems a little high for a Rookie that will start out spliting time with McAllister.
no, though there i hope he'd be lining up at WR every other play. bush is a 3rd-5th rounder (in a 10 team league), but 20 picks are already gone and he has long term potential since duece will be gone soon. If shaun etc are there, those are MUCH better picks.

and never take a QB in the first round unless the top 9 RBs are already gone. if steven jackon is there, take him. I didn't know you guys threw first rounders back in the pot.
Would you take Reggie Bush in the first round? In fact, because of that rule, you really can't pick him. If you have a chance to get a top of the line QB at #10 do it (assuming that the top tier RBs are gone), but if Manning, Brady, and Palmer are gone, I'd take the best available RB or Antonio Gates.

The fact that you don't pick again for 20 more picks is the key to this draft. You really have to get a great compliment to Portis here. Keep Boldin and try to draft someone better than Dunn.
