I had no idea that Greg Easterbrook doubled as a sportswriter. That guy has been one of the leading voices on Global Warming for like over a decade.
TMQ has been around for years, but he was fired from ESPN for a while and just came back after a three year absence. Easterbrook has been a geopolitical social satirist for years. His work on Global Warming only recently moved into the "it's actually happening" stage. Prior to that he was actually quite sceptical in most of his writing about global warming. He tends to have a very specific point of view on many items, some of which are very well researched and educated opinions, other he just spews out with zero knowledge or research.

I read Easterbrook because he's fun, but don't assume that his work is well researched, he's just as likely to write emotionally biased drivel as he is to write a well researched opinion piece. Caveat Emptor.

Good for Wellington and lucky for Danny. Snyder may well have been inspired by Wellington Mara when he made his concessions to the other owners this past off season. But, the original article was about what happened last winter. Mr. Mara might have done the same, except .... So, there was no reason to mention him in the story. I don't see that there was a slight.

p.s.: I actually do admire the Mara family and what they did for pro football.
