Re: I still love MY Redskins!
I will still watch no matter how bad it gets. I love sitting down on a Sunday afternoon with a cold one and a J and watching the best game in America. Its great when they win and it makes the losing seasons all worth it when they have a season like the one in 05. Theydidn't make it this year.....So what! I will still watch the Redskins every game and cheer on the team I love. I remember when it was Great and have suffered through the horrible( I'm looking at you Norv) years like many of you. Its hard to lose but try to remember how great last year felt, and how great 91 and 87 and 82 were? Some teams have never had anything close to the sucess we have had. And we have the Man who made those SB's possible. We have a world of talent on this team and if you think we will be down for long, you are dead wrong. JG WILL make this team great again. He has said he is here until this thing gets fixed and I have full faith in him. This team will be scary good next season, but even if they are not.......
Do you feel the love???
awww....oh my god........... how corny! lol! not really dude, same here with my Boys. Haven't won jack in a decade!, But still lov'em no matter what.! Later. |

Re: I still love MY Redskins!
Yeah I'm lock-step with the skins. One positive thing about losing is that only the real fans stick around. Bandwagon fans are nice for the extra noise they
bring, but I get annoyed with part-time fans. |

After smokin' all that "wacky weed" it's like they're actually winning the game anyway, eh?. |

Not actually but it does take the sting off of the losses a bit ! |

A tear just rolled down my cheek.

Re: I still love MY Redskins!
Been a Skins fan since I was old enough to understand football, since about 1978 in the waning days of G. Allen, then Pardee, & then Gibbs.
I spent 2.5 years of my life overseas in the 90s & watchin the Skins was one of the things I missed most. Thankfully though, some of those years were terrible, but if I'd been able to I'd have watched all the games. Skins fans make this team what it is & one day Synder will truly get that & will learn a style of mgmt. that doesn't give us such a roller coaster of high hopes & big letdowns every year. And Gibbs will get this thing straightened out before he leaves. We'll be back in it soon, that I believe. |
Re: I still love MY Redskins!
Right there with you guys. I still get excited for games. Regardless if we're fighting for a playoff spot or low first rounder.
