Re: Tomlinson breaks TD mark
There are a number of basketball players I would add to that list, but most notably on mine would be Julius Erving.
Speaking of which, and this could be a thread in and of itself, but best athletes of all time across all sports? In some order:
Michael Jordan Babe Ruth Wayne Gretzky Jack Nicklaus Tiger Woods? Wilt Chamberlain Mario Lemieux Babe Didrickson Mark Spitz Pete Sampras? Michael Phelps? I don't know if there's any one football player that fits in there yet. Some say Payton, Jim Brown, Rice, and then there's a slew of QBs one of which has to be Joe Montana. But Tomlinson could join the conversation someday.
OH MY GOD!!! You're KIDWELL! |
Re: Tomlinson breaks TD mark
I was just going to comment on that.
That's one trade that rarely gets talked about in hindsight. Can anyone even make a case for the Falcons now??
Plus the Chargers basically got Drew Brees in that deal too |
Re: Tomlinson breaks TD mark
If he plays another 6 years he may be the greatest RB ever.

LOL Top three people most likely to be the real Kidwell: 3) Matty (to set an example of what not to do around here) 2) Wewhite 1) Schneed (muhuwhahahaha) I'm kidding, I'm not Kidwell. |

I don't think it's going to take him six to erase all doubt, frankly. |
Re: Tomlinson breaks TD mark
I bet Alexander Ovechkin will rank on that list one day.

Don't forget Pele and Roger Federer

A hockey player for the Capitals. He was the rookie of the year last year. He's sick, but they need to make sure they get a good team around him. YouTube - Ovechkin |

Federer is great. I normally could care less about tennis but I'll watch on TV if he's playing, especially in the finals. |

Oh well, I'm sure he would have been good -- tell him he should have been drafted in a place where people care about hockey. Like Fargo. Or Hoth. |

I normally could care less about tennis unless the womens are playing. Since I got HD I also seem to be a lot more interested in the women's figure skating that I often get to watch in lieu of a second NFL game. |

Then all the other individual sportsmen, and then the team players. :twocents: |

:twocents:
You a swimmer? Michael Phelps' older sister was a college teammate of mine. She was pretty good. And pretty damn hot. And yeah, he earns his Citi reward points crazy fast. |
