Re: Michael Vick vs. Old Habits
Trade that bum and get all you can for him. This is story from awhile ago, but a friend of mine went out to dinner with Mike Vick and about six or seven people while Vick was a senior at VaTech. What he told me was a story that was a sure sign of things to come. The guy doesn't speak to the staff or the waitress at the restaurant once the whole night. He only communicates by snapping fingers at the staff as in come hither lesser humans. He amuses himself by pointing at things on the menu he wants and then snapping his fingers. He literaly snapped his fingers over and over and over and of course he thought he was just hilarious. Big Man on Campus. My friend said he has never been more embarassed for someone or for himself. I really hate stuff like that. Hope he never wins a title and the way he plays I don't think I have to worry.
hate to hear that, but can surely believe it's true. I was in grad school at VT when Vick was playing (btw, he didn't stay till his sr. year). It was an exciting year on campus when he played his 1st year in 99, and in town he couldn't go anywhere w/out strangers approaching him. He was an overnight star practically. I'm not blaming it on success though, a smart and/or decent person would be able to see that such behavior is not beneficial long term. on a positive note, up until now he's kept himself outta trouble other than the Ron Mexico thing, and I think he can be really good w/the right system (not the west coast) and decent recievers. If it weren't for all the hype, people would think he's a decent qb, just not a great one. Instead, due to all the media attention, people are starting to regard him as a failure, which I disagree with. |
Re: Michael Vick vs. Old Habits
The BREITBART.COM article may have some factual inaccuracies. According to CNN and Espn Vick refused to surrender the plastic bottle and tossed in it in a trash can. The airport security person observed Vick throw it in a trash can and stuck his/her head in a trash can and got it out.
Vick is a moron if he did try and carry some weed on a plane. But there seems to be some different versions of the story. |

I agree. His inteligence must be that of a 3 year old. Not good to give your home fans the bird either, even if you are a Falcon......... |
Re: Michael Vick vs. Old Habits
Shouldn't this guy be able to score some weed when he lands? Doesn't he have an entorauge(sp) for this type of stuff? What a dumbass.

Wow. What a jackass. I would've probably walked out, or kicked him in the balls -- or both. :) |

And giving home fans the finger and screaming at them to "F*** Off." And hanging his head coach out to dry last year (when he said "It's a question that needs to be answered. We're too good to be losing these games. We should be up there among the elite." in reply to whether Mora deserved to continue.). And making ridiculous pronouncements (Vick stated after the 2004 season that he wouldn't cut his hair until he won a Super Bowl.). And proving that he is, indeed, a coach killer. |

Re: Michael Vick vs. Old Habits
Have we forgotten about the fact that one of his ex-girlfriend’s allegedly posted a picture on her MYSPACE page of him holding a joint? But he didn’t smoke marijuana at VA Tech, right? He was a solid citizen all through college, right? He definitely never looked glossy-eyed and incoherent to me.
How about the ole "Ron Mexico" fiasco? Yes, the same Ron Mexico who was slapped with a lawsuit for negligence and battery in April 2005 after a woman allegedly claimed he had sexual relations with her and gave her herpes. To hide his identity, quick thinking Vick used the secret name “Ron Mexico” to mislead the woman. Unfortunately for pea-brained Vick, he was wearing his Falcons jersey and signing autographs at the time. Later, the man who lived under powerlines and grew up on a steady diet of paint chips and paint huffing then felt bold enough to speak out against his brother for having sexual relations with a minor and his antics with drugs. Of course, as already mentioned, he snubbed his head coach, flipped the bird to his fans, and continues to act as if his bowel movements are actually solid gold diamond encrusted trophies to be sold for top dollar at the NFL store. Oh yeah, and he’s a helluva “passer”. I recommend him for citizen of the year. |

Re: Michael Vick vs. Old Habits
Nothing against Mike Vick, I just don’t like as*holes. He doesn’t piss Chardonnay and fart Channel in my book. As far as I’m concerned, he can drink a gallon of kerosene and piss on a brush-fire.

Anyone care to speak on WeWhite's behalf...? Taf?

All I'm saying if this was Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, or any other pale-skinned QB this wouldn't be an issue. But you guys just can't accept that Vick has revolutionized the water bottle. 'Cause you're afraid of messing with your water/weed status quo. Blah blah blah blah |
