Re: NFC East rumors

when we signed lloyd i got bashed for noting that his "higlight reel" consisted of 4-5 plays, shown 3+ times each (at different times in the same clip). one good play, and then he dissappears for the rest of the game. great signing. and no, i'm not bitter.
Ya he did. I think Lloyd was the guy last year that made like a sick one handed catch almost every game. That probably caught Mr. Snyders eye and he almost blew one all over his checkbook when he heard the magic words:

Free Agency
It was worse than that because he still had 1 year left on his deal, but yet we went ahead and gave him one of those giant contracts. What is wrong with those people?

Free Agency
Yeah giving Lloyd a seven year deal backloaded with a redick signing bonus was stupid.

Don't forget the third and the fourth we sent too!
He is turning 37 this month and I just don't see a team that would want him as a one year starter in a new system. Maybe 2 years at best.
A team that takes a QB in the draft would most definately want Garcia there. Are you kidding? Garcia proved he is a pretty damn good QB in a west coast offense. If he can get a job running that style of offense, he will start.

Joe Gibbs and Al Saunders got boners for him. Danny had nothing to do with it, he just signed the check. Gibbs has say over all personel decisions. Stop blaming Snyder.

one of the few FA signings I would agree with!
the man is a beast. He could play inside too. He would be like a Ray Lewis on the inside.

They need a middle linebacker. I think the outside would be fine with Washington, Rocky and Lemar.

Yeah I agree. On a team that runs the west coast system he'd be an ideal one year starter to provide time for a rookie to develop behind him.

I think Briggs is one of those guys that get's 'caught' out of position in Gregg Williams' defense. Briggs is very active, if you will, and I think within our system you may not see the same type of play from him.

Re: NFC East rumors
just looking over fox sports football page, and glanced thru the rumors section. 2 rumors, that would effect the skins, the giants are interested in Chicago linebacker Lance Briggs, in my opinion, Briggs is a big time, play making linebacker, that i want as far away from the NFC east as possible. the other is that Dante Stallworth, the Philly eagles free agent wide out, is looking for a big payday. and we all know that means some where other then Philly. this is good news for skins fans, Stallworth continually made big plays for the eagles. and with Mcnabb coming back, could have been a nightmare for the skins secondary. any thoughts?
We all know what happens when you think you are getting a big time play maker and you pay him a lot of money = a whole lot of nothing!!

They can hire whoever they want, but it all comes down to game day.

If thats true then, you win. I just see lots of things going bad and Dan Snyder normally has his checkbook open to foot the bill for our whims. We gave WAYYYYYYY too big a contract and SUCH a RETARDED signing deal AND the picks? We are f-ing retarded.....thanks Vinny. Dick.
