MY neighbor is one of those people who is very lazy but puts up allot of lights. He has taken them down but the extension ladder is still leaning against his house. It has been there on his porch stretched to his roof from two christmases ago.

My Russian neighbors.
They still have icicle lights and a beagle statue dressed as Santa on their front step. Mine were down just after New Year's. Would've been sooner but we were away from home for New Year's Eve and NY Day. |

Just another injection of religion into the whole Christmas celebration:
Does anyone realize that the traditional religious Christmas Season [I]begins[/I] on Christmas Day? It then continues for twelve days (hence the twelve days of Christmas and the gift of many pear trees) until Epiphany, January 6the (the day the Kings of the Orient "visited" Jesus in the manger). |
