But seriously, why would anyone pay $50 to have a couple tapes converted to CDs when they could just buy the CD for $10 apiece???

You can't charge more than $10 a tape, IMO. Otherwise it'd be a complete ripoff. I'd even feel funny about taking more than $5 per tape. I mean if the CD can be bought brand new for $10, wha???

I'm guessing the stuff on the audio cassettes isn't widely available, hence the conversion...for all we know, it's CIA and FBI secrets from the past 40 years...either that, or she wants to get in his pants, and this is a good excuse to get him in a compromising situation.
