Re: Which 2002 QB is this?
I would have thought so too, but he said the quotes were made within the last three months.
This thread reminds me, I asked Jason Campbell a question on Washington Post Live last week, it was the 3rd one they got to. What did you guys think about it?
grillz, dont start that mess again:) |
Re: Which 2002 QB is this?
I think Ramsey as he was let go by the Jets and I think this was something that was writen about him at that time.

Re: Which 2002 QB is this?
I'd post a link but I think JoeRedskin wants to keep the suspense going a little longer
I think Ramsey as he was let go by the Jets and I think this was something that was writen about him at that time.
I think everything except for that "he needs a change of scenery" comment makes sense for Ramsey. But why would the person say that after he just left his second team in a row? Third time's a charm?

Re: Which 2002 QB is this?
I'd be willing to bet AMD's virginity that it is David Carr.
I'd be willing to bet AMD's virginity that it is David Carr.
Hey, you said you wouldn't tell people about that PM I sent you!
And also, my flower isn't something to be gambled away like money or an internal organ. |

Re: Which 2002 QB is this?
I think even if you combined all three QBs you'd still have a sucky QB.
We could call him Patrick Carrington. |
Re: Which 2002 QB is this?
Yeah, it was Carr.
Here is the link: Carr's tale: Signed, sacked, shipped off from Texans | Chron.com - Houston Chronicle I probably should have said the remark was made in the last year as opposed to limiting it to the last three months. As Matty said, when I read the first quote, I thought it could have applied to any of the three. It really seems like all three of them had similar problems in terms of lacking football instincts and having a good feel for the game. |
Re: Which 2002 QB is this?
It appears AMD's virginity is still safe - that would, of course, explain his poor eyesight.

Re: Which 2002 QB is this?
I wonder if it could be due to the fact that all three came from schools that aren't really known for producing big time football players, especially QBs. Maybe their college experience (on the field) didn't prepare them all that well for the speed and the complexity of the NFL.
Just a thought. |

Re: Which 2002 QB is this?
Who is this quote about? David Carr, Joey Harrington or Patrick Ramsey
It was made w/in the last 3 months. "If you see signs of a guy getting better year to year that's one thing. But he didn't. In some games, yes, he looked like a legitimate NFL quarterback. But he didn't do it in enough games. Most quarterbacks find certain things — special plays, a particular receiver — to fall back on when they need to. [The Mystery QB] never really established any of that."
|
Re: Which 2002 QB is this?
Um so I guess it really is offseason now seeing that we are playing guessing games...
