Talented TE who might be great in the next couple years if he shuts up & stops getting into petty disputes w/his opponents.

Not a Gibbs type guy & definitely not worth upsetting whatever fragile chemistry we have on the team.

There's only so much salary money to go around. What's left under the cap should be spent on areas of real need. TE isn't one of them. Even if it were, Stevens isn't the guy. Lots of off field problems and not a reliable receiver.

Don't know you too well... But sight unseen I'd say probably "yes" anyway if I had to choose.

Now a bag of sand, I'm familiar with that. And the sandbag gets the first call over Stevens every time. Some might say Stevens actually is a sandbag, but why insult a sandbag like that?
