Re: Be Bold 4/15/07
With out a doubt 11-5, win the division and lose a heartbreaker in the championship, now that is bold!

YEAH! Be Bold! |
Re: Be Bold 4/15/07
So this is my new annual thread that I will create weekly or monthly(depending on my laziness). It is called "Be Bold". It is a quick and easy thread that will hopefully have a poll in the near future.
The object of the thread is to make a rational but bold prediction between two options. The first annual thread will be the projected record in 2007 barring injury to starters. It is always sexy and easy to pick 8-8 and around there. We will not pick that, but instead we will BE BOLD. The Washington Redskins will go either: A)6-10 and lower OR B)10-6 and higher Answer below. Be Bold.
I say we end up 10-6. I would say 11-5, but it's gonna tough to vastly improve a D that was 31st overall and 27th in scoring. I think it will improve, but how much depends on that damn D-line. |

That's novel. 6-10 |
Re: Be Bold 4/15/07
11-5 is the number, I like!

Re: Be Bold 4/15/07
This is so tough to predict because you are kept wondering who we are. Are we the team that reeled off five wins in a row to make the playoffs and build momentum, or are we the team who couldn't even beat the Vikings and Titans at HOME last year? Being the fact that we have the majority of the pieces from our 2005 campaign BACK from free agency plus Smoot, I'm going with 10-6 or above barring no major injuries.
If Campbell, Cooley, Fletcher or Springs get hurt, then my prediction goes down to below 6-10. They are VITAL cogs. |
Re: Be Bold 4/15/07
15 - 1
We'll lose at home to the 0 - 15 Cowboys for our only loss and their only win of the season. Naturally, we wouldn't play any of our starter's. |
Re: Be Bold 4/15/07
9-7
I was bold, wasn't I? |

Sorry, but I'm going to nitpick. I'm pretty sure that if something is annual, it's not created on a weekly or monthly basis, it's created once a year. If hooskins can have his "Be Bold" thread, I think my movie quote thread should be reinstated and removed from Thread Hell!!!! |
Re: Be Bold 4/15/07
12-4, I really feel that we are going to get our 4th sb this year
|
Re: Be Bold 4/15/07
Hoo, were you drunk when you created this thread? It's basically telling us to forget being realistic unless we think the Skins are going to be either really bad or really good.
I'm not sure why saying we're going to be mediocre is frowned upon? |
Re: Be Bold 4/15/07
I'm really not a fan of being bold, I'd rather be sassy!

Re: Be Bold 4/15/07
My gut feeling (subject to change, depending on my mood) is that we will have a much more potent offense, though still plagued by mistakes and inexperience due to Campbell's development. I don't see the defense getting all that better especially with only one draft pick, and with the uncertainty that the front office will use it where they should -- at the D-line. So I'm thinking they'll be marginally better, say 7-9 or 8-8.
But for the purposes of this thread, 6-10 or worse. |
Re: Be Bold 4/15/07
i say 11-5 maybe one or 2 more wins i like the off season moves we've made and if we land okoye well be even better than expected
|
Re: Be Bold 4/15/07
I got us at 12-4. When I went through the schedule I have us losing to the PAts, Jets, Eagles, and Giants. Of course we sweep the Cowboys and beat the Bears. I'd say thats pretty bold.
