Ha, that link was actually the signature that I used before I changed it to this one.
I played that song on the jukebox at RFD in DC on Tuesday night. Then I played Come Sail Away by Styx.
Nice Schneed! Good News For People Who Like Bad News (stupid long album titles) hasn't left the disc changer in my car in about 2 years and it looks like We Were Dead... will be joining it.
They're the type of band that I know not everyone would like but I really can't get enough of them. I have their first studio album and I've been meaning to get the others one but I keep forgetting.

I can't really think of a good line from a song right now, but if I could it would probably come from the song The View of The Ocean Breathes Salty.
You wasted life, why wouldn't you waste the afterlife!

I also love Satin in a Coffin and Bukowski.

You were layin on the carpet like you're satin in a coffin, you said do you believe what you're sayin? Yeah right now, but not that often! Are you dead or are you sleepin? Are you dead or are you sleepin? Are you dead or are you sleepin, God I sure hope you are dead!

and...

If God controls the land and disease and keeps a watchful eye on me, if he's really so damn mighty, well my problem is I can't see why who would wanna be, who would wanna be such a control freak?

Great band. Not enough love for the Mouse in today's world.

Re: What are your favorites?

Oh man 724, great post. I am torn about whether to post this or not because I could turn this into a favorite fast food burger thread all by myself.

- Wendy's Triple w/ Cheese, everything on it, double pickle
- Hardy's Thickburger
- Wendy's Smokey Bacon Cheeseburger - they haven't done this one in a while, but it had smoked cheddar, smoked bacon, and onions sauteed in hickory smoked BBQ sauce.
- Texas double Whopper

I feel like having a burger for breakfast now.

Re: What are your favorites?

schneed, after eating that triple, is it a mad dash to the bathroom?

724Skinsfan 04-20-2007 09:04 AM

Re: What are your favorites?

Hardy's Thickburger is off my list due to an unfortunate and rather lengthy episode involving me and the toilet on Valentine's Day two years ago.

I'm becoming a fan of Red Robin restaurant since it came to Roanoke.

Back on topic: Another great song is Ball and Chain by Social Distortion.

If I were absolutley forced to, I would pick Bela Fleck and the Flecktones as my favorite band. They are the only ones I've ever bothered seeing in concert.

Re: What are your favorites?

I just had Five Guys (a DC area chain) for the first time last week and I really think it was the best burger and by far the best fries I've ever had.

It could have been because I hadn't had anything to eat for about 18 hrs before I ate it, but it was damn good.

There's a Five Guys near my sister-in-law's place at the Delaware/PA border. You're right, great burgers.

Opposite effect, LOL. It's like a brick in my gut. Takes about 5 days to work that bad boy out!

Please tell me you didn't get the large fries. I made that mistake only once. I ordered them and basically they had two deep frying baskets and just dumped them in a brown paper bag.
