The Denver Broncos scooped our 3rd round pick in the forgettable TJ Duckett trade, and a mid rounder in 08 to Denver for the Dead Duck trade last August.

Yeah, I mean if most of that cap space is going to go to our picks, who can we really sign that would be a quality performer? The draft basically said wait til next year to get any new D linemen, so we just have to hope that our D line stays healthy and let the younger guys get a lot more playing time.

I don't think it is even close comparing a pass catching tight end to a pass rusher. Hell, run more 3 wide receiver plays or split Portis out.

If you traded Cooley for a guy who gave us 12+ sacks next year we would forget that Cooley was ever here.
