Re: NFL.com Playoff Prediction
Giants are going to be scraping the bottom of the NFC-East this year. They will have no offense and a decent defense.
I agree that the Tiki was a great loss, but as long as the RB tandem can make up for most of that lost production, I believe that Eli will be fine. I also realize that their Defense isn't bad either. I am actually curious to see what "What's his name?" looks like at LB.
Who are you referring to? If it's Arrington, I thought they released him? |

I think that he is talking about Mathias Kiwanuka, he was a DE last year and I heard that they are either going to or were thinking of moving him to LB... |

I agree that if the tandem of Jacobs and Droughns can make up 1 Tiki then maybe they will be better. As of now I am not sold on it at all... |
Re: NFL.com Playoff Prediction
Just goes to show you how difficult it is to predict the NFC East.

Thank you I was talking about Mathias Kiwanuka. Also I can see your point of view. Its true that only time can tell and that was my point. Everybody is so quick to point out that NY will suck, but I say that it depends on The production that they get from their two backs and how well Kiwanuka fills the void at OLB. |
Re: NFL.com Playoff Prediction
I agree with the predicted record but I dont think that will get them the playoffs.
|
Re: NFL.com Playoff Prediction
I still think that the NFC East can put up better numbers than that. I like where they have us, except for not advancing a little farther in the post-season. There IS a lot of variables all all 4 teams, so I will get a little crazy this year. All 4 QB's should have a question mark beside thier name, and with so many changes on all the D's, it's going to be a fun year.

They have to backs that are big and powerful but not what you would call quick. They are inside the 20 backs for the most part. Another thing is Brandon Jacobs looks like a early Tiki Barber in the way that he has a huge problem holding onto the ball while running people over. |

I think we really do have a shot this year if everyone stays healthy. We are building a better team and with each passing year I think we are getting closer. Last year just sucked... too many injuries... |

The Giants have a bad OLine, and without a smart back like Tiki you will see their run game get stuffed. Jacobs is big and strong, but so is everyone else in the L. Droughns is an average back who has to play behind a bad OLine. I don't think the Giants have a defense that will impose their will on anybody. I see 6-10 for the Gmen, 8-8 Eagles, playoffs for the Skins, and 11-5 for Dallas ... . |

I think I agree with 5RINGS.

Re: NFL.com Playoff Prediction
The thing about Dallas bringing Wade Phillips in is that he ran the 3-4 in San Diego so the already strong defense in my opinion is only going to get stronger. Unless their season comes down to a last second field goal I think they have the playoffs on lock down.

We know from experience that new coaches need time.... at least a year. |
