Cashews are great. Extra time at GOLD'S?

Sunflower seeds are where it's at.

The ranch flavor is money.

I think it was a newspaper headline on The Simpsons once: "Closed Cashew Stymies Fatso" over a picture of Comc Book Guy.

F... Cashews. Curly little bastards. I'll take honey roasted peanuts or smokehouse almonds anyday.

Much love for the cashew. Also much love for the pecan and the walnut.

I love the taste of moist, tender nuts rolling around on my tongue! LOL

Ok, that went a little too far.

But I too like the cashew. I like me some honey roasted peanuts too.

The "Blue Diamond: wasabi & soy sauce smoked almonds" are where its at, I cant stop eating those damn things. And they make your breath stanky stanky.

I always make a beeline for Pistachios. They are great, and half the fun is opening them. Hot roasted peanuts are great too.

Sunflower seeds are good to go as well. I much on them every day...spit cup's getting nasty, I may need to wash it out soon. Dill pickle ones are choice, but I usually stick with regular.

Cashews are good, but certainly not my favorite.

And to the question....a handful of mixed nuts are better for you than a serving of fat free pretzels. the nuts have essential fats, whereas the pretzels are pretty much empty calories and sodium.

How about toffee crusted pecans? Mostly for the toffee. I think I'd eat toffee covered tumors. Because you can eat around the tumor.

I dig those flavored almonds too. I'm addicted to the chili & lime variety.

When I was a kid, I used to drive my mother crazy naming nuts:

Peanut, Pistachio Nut, White Pistachio Nut, Pine Nut, Macadamia Nut.... That's the one that would send her over the edge. She'd say, "70Chip, if you don't quit naming nuts..."

It's not smart to use your REAL name as your screen name online by the way.
