I'm sure I saw #22 out there. I do think he saw limited action.

I'm a bit concerned with our offensive line right now. I liked the way Jason threw the ball but I think we have to take a wait and see approach when it comes to the offense considering we didn't play ladell or portis at all. Those 2 guys will open up our passing attack.

Defensively we looked great. Really am impressed with what I saw there but like someone else already said the Titans weren't playing Vince Young. Landry, Rocky, Springs, Golston and the Defensive line looked really good.

Fletcher, Rocky, and Landry will breathe new live into our D. Add a healthy Griffin and and a healthy Marcus Washington, and I can see us returning as a top 10-12 unit.

I cannot wait to see TO going across the middle with Taylor and Landry back there. We all know that TO's afraid of Taylor, and now he has another head hunter to worry about :smashfrea

Rogers was out there for a significant portion of time. And if you didn't notice him, that's a good thing for a CB. I thought he held his part of the field down decently.
it seemed overall that the skins defense was flying around, and getting after the ball. that only takes alittle hustle. wonder why they weren't doing it last season? but i don't know about the brain statement. i think Lamar knew the position. i just think there were too many injuries
I don't think you're getting me. Lamar knew the position in terms of his own assignments, but he wasn't the field general that Antonio Pierce was. Nowhere cose. Pierce had that knack of being able to read the offensive formations in a heartbeat, and call out adjustments. You'd see him running up and slapping linemen on the rear on one side or another, to get them to shift and line up over different gaps. I watched Fletcher intently before the snap, and he was doing the same things (minus the slapping on the rear). He was constantly barking instructions to the line, and I saw plenty of pre-snap shifts.

When it comes to stopping the run, half the battle is being lined up in the right spots before the snap.

If you remember last year, you didn't see much pre-snap shifting with Lamar at MLB.

Pierce was our biggest personnel loss in the last 5 years, and now I think we finally have a replacement.

Totally agree about the O line. I'm very concerned. They looked terrible.
Did anyone see Hickman take the field?
Yeah, he was the one that knocked over Tim Rattay after he fumbled, leading up to Westbrook's TD. Number 75

The defense was undoubtedly most impressive. I was very much encouraged by their performance. I would have liked, however, to have seen more pressure on the QB. The only two great QB pressures I recall were: (1) Landry wacking the snot out of Collins; and (2) Golston blowing by his man and chasing down Collins.

Not to exagerate the Landry hit, but it did take Collins a few seconds to get himself together and get off the turf after that hit. It was nice.

When you don't remember seeing corners and safeties, that's always a sign of a secondary playing well.

I thought it was nice to see Landry & Fletcher our two biggest moves this summer come in and look sharp. I do not bank much on one preseasson so its still a wait and see but still nice anyways.

I love that!
All BS aside. Opposing recievers will hate to deal with our secondary. As bad as we were on D last year, ST still scared the shit out of a lot of recievers. Add Landry to the mix, and apparently London is the REAL deal (as well as a good guy), and nobody is going to want to run a crossing route.

the same thing i think is gonna happen as it did in 04 and 05. the D will be be the life of this team and the o will be inconsistent.
