Re: Pro Bowl Voting Now Available
3 words ... Iron Mike Sellers.
You beat me to the punch. Show me a more intimidating fullback in the NFL. That's right, you can't. I voted for Samuels, Sellers, Cooley, McIntosh, and Taylor. If the Skins had pulled out the game at GB, our boys would be getting a lot more pub this week. It's funny how much press GBs defense is getting when the Skins D was clearly superior.
agreed, it is early...
why do you guys think Cooley deserves it? maybe i had high expectations, but I think he's been far too silent, especially with moss being hampered (again) by injury. He has caught the TDs, but where is he for the rest of the drive...burning clock, keeping your defense fresh and dominating field position wins games...(not all on him clearly, but...)
i will tell you why i think he deserves to go, how about i dont feel like voting jeremy shockey or jason witten, as fair as i try to be, i just cant do it. |

BTW, Shockey has only 1 so far.

Re: Pro Bowl Voting Now Available
Witten definitely deserves to be in the pro bowl. Witten and Barber are the only two things on that offense that worry me.
Cooley and Witten should be shoo ins for the probowl. |

Re: Pro Bowl Voting Now Available
Right now I say Carter, Taylor, and Fletch.

Re: Pro Bowl Voting Now Available
My first third of the season NFC probowlers would have to be as follows:
QB: Jeff Garcia Tony Romo Brett Favre RB: Brian Westbrook Adrian Peterson Marion Barber WR: Steve Smith Donald Driver Plaxico Burress Patrick Crayton TE Jason Witten Chris Cooley T Chris Samuels Bryant McKinney Chad Clifton G Mike Wahle Steve Hutchinson Sean Mahan C Andre Gurode Olin Kreutz DE Julius Peppers Aaron Kampman Osi Umyinora DT Pat Williams Fred Robbins Darnell Dockett LB Brian Urlacher Antonio Pierce Derrick Brooks Julian Peterson Demarcus Ware CB Terrence Newman Ronde Barber Nate Clements Al Harris S Brian Dawkins Sean Taylor Roy Williams K Nick Folk P Josh Bidwell Except that pro bowlers are not selected until week 15, so I'm not sure why I just wasted my time. |

What about Rocky, or Fletcher at LB? They certainly deserve it so far. |
Re: Pro Bowl Voting Now Available
Wilson isn't having a great year. Better player...iffy season.
Fletch hasn't been as dominant as we would have liked him to be so far. Rocky has been better, but there's only going to be 5 linebackers...and there are still a few holes in Rocky's game. Corneilus Griffin should get some consideration, but the only guy who has the defensive numbers to be selected is Taylor. A lot of the reason for our defensive success is in some unhearlded guys, but those guys won't make the pro bowl. |

Everytime I watched the Cowboys this year Williams was either getting smoked downfield, or getting a personal foul for a horsecollar. I would take Adrian anyday over Roy. |

Makes a lot of tackles, and keeps everybody in position. If you're expecting him to be Ray Lewis or brian urlacher, that has never been him... As far as those of us saying it's too early to vote, we all know that it's too early - we're just having some fun with this..In fact players that get off to fast starts are usually the first ones looked at later in the year for some reason. |
