Re: 412-192 edge
we had a 5 turnover difference and were still in it (not counting the last one because we were out at that point). What is the record in a win. I"m guessing 5 but can't be more than 6
Hey, that just proves the Al Saunders system is really starting to kick in now. We've got two very winnable games coming up so hopefully we can start picking up some momentum again.
ST will be back, and HOPEFULLY Randy Thomas will make an appearance in 2-3 weeks. |
Re: 412-192 edge
Loved the way we moved the ball in the 2nd half, needless to say it's all moot because of the 6 turnovers.
That's the total yardage comparison between the Skins and Bucs. If you saw those #'s you would say it was an ass kicking, is amazing how turnovers kill a team.
Yeah I remember one of my uncle's games in Columbus in 1985. The Buckeyes outgained the Badgers by over a 3-1 margin, but the 3rd string RB fumbled 3 times inside the Badger 5 yard line and the Buckeyes were upset 12-7, the week after they knocked off #1 Iowa. Sucked balls, just like this loss. Our guys need to get their heads out of their asses and play good sound football for a full 60 minutes. This bad half good half crap isn't the signature of a winning team!!!!!! |
Re: 412-192 edge
In fairness, the Bucs werent able to put up many yards when they're only 20yds from the endzone every time they get the ball.

Good point. Our D was lights out today... playing with a short field and all those turnovers and they still only gave up 19 in the first half. complete domination otherwise. |
