Re: Peter King's take on the Taylor tragedy
Back on topic, here's another great article by King:
SI.com - Writers - Peter King: London Fletcher calls Taylor a leader - Tuesday November 27, 2007 10:11PM This one is mainly about London Fletcher's admiration for what a great player Sean was, and how he was really emerging as a great team leader. He says that Sean was telling everyone in the huddle during the New England game to forget about the score and to just keep playing their hearts out. He also says that Sean was one of the top 3 players he's been able to play with during his 10 year career even though they were only together for 9 games! And he also sheds just a little more light on why Sean was even down at that house in the first place, which is something that I know is still troubling some people. |
You really don't think he was thug??? This is what is wrong with people's obsession with sports, they will forgive and look over the worst kind of charachter and make thme out to be some responsible law abiding citizen. His house had already been broken into 10 days ago, when police reports surmised that someone had entered through a front window before looking through Taylor's personal affairs and leaving a kitchen knife on a bed???? Come on dude, if you want to live you life with blinders on, k nock yourself out if it makes you feel better. This was a "warning" gone bad. They coulda at least stuck a decapitated horse's head in his bedsheets.
You did not answer my question unless you think ST was a Thug because his house was broken into 8 days before this happened. I'm surprised you have not been ban from this site because you have added nothing. |

Re: Peter King's take on the Taylor tragedy
he said that a few players in the league made themselves"distant"from sean taylor cause they thought he was trouble.something to that effect!i thought that chris carter hit the nail on the head with what he said at the first of the show.he said that he wish he could have told ST something at the rookie camp he skipped a few years back and then maybe he could have made it to the age of 25 on april 1st.he said something that i did'nt know which is the main cause of death for black males in the usa between the ages of 15-24 is murder.
and to me,that is something that everybody whether it be a white guy like me,a blackman,a latino man,or a spaceman has got to find a way to stop that.who knows?the man who finds a cure for cancer or invents a way for time travel may be among these youngmen who have died a very violent death.this is everybody's country and the sooner everybody sees that, the better this place will be!!!!! |
