Re: Ray Lewis' pregame speech
When did he murder someone? I think the media mislead a few people on his case. Just in the same way they did with sean's case.
He was accessory after the fact for not fully cooperating with the cops. I'm not thebiggest Ray Lewis fan, but does anyone really trust a cop anymore? |
Re: Ray Lewis' pregame speech
Peter King addressed that today on SI.com...The head coach is responsible for his sideline so even though the head coach is supposed to be the one to call the TO it's not up to the official to determine if the TO is coming from the Head Coach or not. Basically the NFL's stance is it's like tough sh*t Billick keep your assistants in line...
Which is exactly what I've always thought all along. |
Re: Ray Lewis' pregame speech
That speech by Ray Lewis was very touching, all 3 of them played their hearts out just like Sean. Its a shame Rex Ryan called that stupid timeout and the refs gave the game 2 the Pathetics

Re: Ray Lewis' pregame speech
ravens beat themselves. undisciplined, manhandled the WRs all game (ie, tackling them mid route without the ball in the air). They got away with enough stuff that they really shouldn't be whining so much about the refs.
that D did play really really well besides the penalties though. even kyle boller looked good. |
Re: Ray Lewis' pregame speech
I was under that assumption too, but ESPN clearly highlighted Rex Ryan calling the timeout during that 4th & 1 play.
And Lewis' comments were touching. The entire Ravens team played out of their minds last night. They had me glued to the TV, watching two teams that I despise, until the very end...
First time I actually found myself cheering for the Ravens. I mean, it was actually a football game where guys actually hit each other and got pissed off. Good stuff. |
