And what about his constant use of "apparently"? First down for the skins, apparently. Apparently, there's a flag. Are you even watching the friggin game?
LOL. I noticed that too! What a f-ing tool.

On a good note Collingsworthless actually defended Gibbs v2.0. That was not something I expected. Props to him on that.

"He appears to have the first down"

Um yeah you think? The guy is only 5 yards past the marker.

I got so sick of hearing him cough. I will say this I was impressed with the way Deion talked of ST and the redskins.

The pre-game tribute to Taylor was excellent. Two thumbs up to the NFLN for that.

Re: NFL Network booth horrible again tonight

Let's forget about the booth and just stick with the basics like the scoreboard on the screen. Is NFLN being stubborn to keep their "signature style"
because it is possibly placed in the worst/most annoying place on the screen...

I don't think Gumble even likes football. He forces everything and shows no excitement. Collinsworth still annoys me but is getting a little better. I can't get his "Daniel Snyder = Minnie Me" comment out of my head from way back.

Luckily I got sick during the first quarter and went home. Laid in bed listening to Sonny and Sam the rest of the night. Trust me, the Redskins play waaay better when you close your eyes and listen to play-by-play on the radio.

YES!!! You guys also noticed this!!! I thought I was the only one. I was even making jokes about while at the game last night.

"Apparently annoyed fans are egging me right now. They appear to not like it when I whisper calls into the microphone."

He may have been thrown off by the fact that the FedEx scoreboard had the wrong info on it a bunch of times throughout the game.

I'll still take these guys over the MNF crew that prefers talking to celebrities (or worse, Charles Barkley) and ignoring the game.

Re: NFL Network booth horrible again tonight

NFLN is a joke. The only good part of last nights broadcast was the ST tribute. They can't call a game worth shit, thier presentation is old and annoying. Thier "field" reporters are pretty horrible and don't know how to talk, and somehow they can get the rights to show the game, and nobody else?
Seems like the commish or someone can step in and tell them to improve, or they lose thier "exclusive" thrusday night access.

Re: NFL Network booth horrible again tonight

Between Gum hole and the commercials hands down NFL Network sux worse than Fox's first year when they took over from CBS. This was without question such biased pro Bears anti- Redskins I actually think Aikman is balanced and fair.

Jayne Pauley could do better than BG, Collinsworth made some decent points but some observations where from out in left field. Why are the TV stations flooded with the 'Skins bashers?? The network cuts away while JC is writhing in pain, we have no idea what is happining with Fred Smoot on the sideline. But man Devon Hester is gonna run for fukkin President accordin to Bryant Gushhole.

Glad the Skins are done with this Network for this season. I'm calling Comcast and cancelling NFLN today.
i just muted them at the beginning when betts dropped a ball and they said it was cooley. Radio all the way.
Oh, come on, I get Betts and Cooley confused all the time. At training camp I totally ran up to Betts and asked if he could do a "Captain Chaos" inscription, it's a pretty common mistake
Gumbel is just awful! He sounds like a female.
Well my wife could kick Gumbel's butt as a commentator (Lady Brave might take issue too) so hopefully you're talking about the dulcet tones with which Gumbel spews forth his nonsensical observations.
