Joe Gibbs is my choice

I don't think they will fire billick, but if I had to pick 1 coach that NEEDS to be fired, it's him. He sucked this year...poor call after poor call, and losing to the Dolphins is pathetic. He has had a ton of arguments with players too...including that tirade at the end of regulation in the Dolphins game with several players.
Joe Gibbs is my choice
Gibbs needs a raise after what he did with this injury prone team. He did a great job with personel...I haven't cared for his tendancy to lay back in the 2nd half, nor some other calls, but overall, he has done very well at holding this team together and perservering through tough times.

it'd cost the ravens 15$mill to fire billick... he's pretty safe. fox has already got public support from his owner, so he's probably safe. After another playoff run, i doubt coughlin goes anywhere either. gibbs may have been offered a two year extension already. there's no chance in hell he'll ever be fired. he'll have to resign or retire first.

childress SHOULD be fired, and word is he's not really well liked up there (among fans and players).

there will be turn over, but not as much as last year.

You're right...there ALWAYS is turnover, and a lot are shocking.

I have a friend that lives in Denver that said he's heard rumors that Shanahan could be fired. Not sure how accurate that is, but there are a lot of people that think he's really messed up this season AND last season after that dropping Plummer for Cutler fiasco. 2 consecutive disasters could mean a ticket out of town. That would shock the NFL community, but it's not out of the question.
I think Mangini could be let go as well. He brought a lot of negativity to NY this year and terrible publicity that the Jets brass can't be happy with. Sure he had a great season last year, but having a similar team this year and getting a whopping 3 wins and destroying his own rep can't be good for his future.
We saw what happened to Schottenhiemer last year, what if the Chargers are dismissed 1st round? Is Norv on the block then?

Re: Blowouts from players to coaches-

I personally would like to see players "fired" (i.e. traded, cut) if they are disruptive and openly disrespectful of the head coach. We don't want the NFL to turn into the NBA where the coach basically has zero authority. Inmates running the asylum is never a good idea.
Fox? Panthers would be stupid to fire him. There has to be just cause to fire a coach and I see none with Fox's situation what it is.
Because he's the force that's keeping DeShaun Foster on the field.

That alone should get him sent out of town right there, but his defensive unit has vastly underachieved this year.

Imagine that, a team goes to afc championship after back to back superbowls and they fire the coach (Shanahan) after two slow rebuilding seasons.

I agree with Guy, Billick isn't going anywhere. They recently re-did his contract I believe? Besides the owner has given him a public endorsement. For the life of me I don't get it. The thing with the Ravens, chances are they won't be any better next year.

This Fall Guy season. Guys that are blamed so the Head Coach does not get the axe. You know, like Oliver North for Reagan or Scooter Libby for Dick Cheney.
Mike Martz is going to get fired as Offensive Coordinatior in Detriot. He is the fall guy for Marinelli.
There will be a ton of others.

I'd put money on Fox being on the sidelines in miami by next september.

But who do you think will get the Atlanta job?

I wouldn't be shocked to see them interview Gregg Williams...or even Russ Grimm for that matter.
