It's really hard to say....the season been a wild ride with ups and downs. But one thing is a fact with out Joe Gibbs faith in God I really believe this team would have not come back after Sean death the way they have! Yes a lot has been said about the Bills game and the two times out but MrGibbs is a great coach, father and man. But now what he is showing us is what his faith in God can do for himself and those around him! I really don't know how any coach could keep a team together after what has happen this year without the faith that Gibbs is showing us all. No matter what happens from here out it's sure been fun to watch!
The notion that faith in god has anything to do with the Skins winning is the dumbest thing I have ever read on this site.

Oh, dear. A religion debate has entered the fray, which could only be made worse if we add politics into the mix. Let's just stick to Redskins football.

I think faith played a role and that's what he may have been getting at.

What kind of role could faith have possibly played? Gibbs prayed harder than his opponents? God likes Gibbs more because he prays a lot? It wasnt faith that got the Skins winning, it was hard work and the right people in the right positions at the right time.

By faith I mean the players having faith in each other and the coaches after dealing with the death of Taylor. It was a rallying point no doubt. By faith I'm not talking about anything religious, just a general faith in each other that brought the team closer together.

OK, I understand what you mean and I agree. A team has to have faith in each other or they wont be successful.

That's not the kind of faith Pete is talking about.
