I think anything is possible with the mystery coach. I do agree with your logic it makes sense, because a mystery interview is probably unlikely to be a big name or it would have gotten around.

so you think its going to be Brian Billick? or Brian Billick?...maybe it'll be Brian Billick!...what if they REALLY throw a curve ball and hire Brian Billick with Brian Billick as the offensive coordinator!

A great coach doesn't make a great team. A great coach and great players make a great team. A great team becomes great through stability, understanding, and knowledge of one another and the game..hence Greg Williams staying with the team and taking over as Head Coach. Cmon...we have had 4 different head coaches in the last 7 years all besides Joe Gibbs having no connection to our team before being named Head Coach. Gibbs put all the pieces together and I believe GW would be perfect to finish the job Coach Gibbs started. So enough with the Bill Cowher, Jimmy Johnson, etc. talk. Try someone close to home and see if it works. That's the best thing for the organization.

Sure, go explain your theory to the Chargers. With the talent on that team JG would be on his 3rd SB.

I throwing monkey wrenches in the gears so what if it's that Snyder does not like how the defense has been handled or playing. Maybe he and GW don't get along. So....he maybe looking for a Defensive minded HC so that he can get rid of GW and his style of football and let the HC run the D and allow Saunder's to run the O.

Another thing. Maybe GW simply is happy where he is at not having to answer to the media especially after games lost( I always think of t he older Mora. lol.) All we keep hearing is speculation about GW. maybe he does want the job. maybe he does not. Maybe when he came to the Skins he thought yea great gig later. Then after working with Snyder and seeing what Gibbs had to go through he is saying...no I'm happy being Asst. HC.

I tend to belive that each meeting with GW was a meeting as to who GW wanted next to be interviewed for defensive co-ordinater. I can also see Snyder sitting down with the candidate and asking what they would do differently then see him running back to GW and seeing what GW would do.
