Re: Happy Birthday Sean Taylor
Good thread.. I watched the Eagles game on TIVO this past Sunday and my heart sank remembering that was the last time we saw him.. Tragic.. Prayers to his family today, I know it's a difficult day for them as well.

Re: Happy Birthday Sean Taylor
Happy birthday, I would also like to add, why is Darrent Williams never mentioned along with Sean Taylor, they were both good players, Darrent was an up and coming corner, that was learning from the best in the business.

Another year. Seems like yesterday.
Keep his family in your prayers on what is surely one of the saddest days of the year for them. |
Re: Happy Birthday Sean Taylor
Happy Birthday Sean..Nothing beat the way it felt to see #21 on that field every week giving all he had week after week. We miss you and will never forget you....
RIP #21 |
Re: Happy Birthday Sean Taylor
I was watching Redskins nation last night and they showed a clip of a training camp from the past and there was a large (built) man wearing #21 in the background.
It's still sad. I'll never forget when it happened. My son was born the night before and I went back to the hospital the next day (after FINALLY getting some sleep!) and when I walked back into the hospital, my wife told me the bad news. I watched the Bucs game that Sunday in the hospital with my new son on my lap. Shame they blew that game right at the end, it was his first game, but then again, it was the team's first game without Sean. Prayers for his family on this day where they've undoubtedly be reminded of him more than on typical days. |
Re: Happy Birthday Sean Taylor
Damn, Birthdays for someone who has passes on are the wildest things to me that are celebrated/remembered. But that is the point though isn't it. To remember them, to take time out to think about good memories of someone that you have lost. As many have said already it is truly a bittersweet day. He was going to end up as the greatest player that the Redskins ever had in my opinion. And like I do every September 30 for my father who has been gone since '86, Happy Birthday Sean.
Hail To The Redskins !!! |
