Coach Breaux and the sandwich

Several years ago I worked for the Panthers. It happened to be when Breaux was coaching there with Seifert. One day I was asked to go out into the lobby area and keep an eye on things. This happened to be an area where players and coaches would walk in and out of all the time. Due to this it was very hard to get away even to use the bathroom. Coach Breaux was one of the few coaches who would actually smile and say "hi". I guess he noticed I had been there for awhile and had not had a chance to leave my seat to grab a bite to eat. Out of the kindness of his heart he brought me a sandwich and drink. I have never forgotten that or his kindness. He works in a business where it is very easy to forget about the "little guys" but he was one guy who never did.

He's also a very high energy personality in person. The crotchety old man image that seems to have taken hold is way off from my experience.
