Re: Interesting insight to Snyder & Blache
Marcus washington said that gregg was /hard to swallow\ meaning what? That greg is a attitude and a half. That he took the tough love attitude to the extreme.Picture bill parcells and then some. My boss is the same way meaner than shit but with heart.

Re: Interesting insight to Snyder & Blache

Re: Interesting insight to Snyder & Blache
Coach Blache is an awesome dude. I had the pleasure of meeting him a few weeks ago, and he really was very, very down to earth. I'm rooting for him. GReat article.

Re: Interesting insight to Snyder & Blache
ya i think snyder will succeed eventually then everyone will love him.He wants to win regardless of price. If we could get rid of the salary cap and turn dan the fan loose with his wad of coin! It may happen with the players union. I heard something about scrapping the cap whaen the contract expires.

Re: Interesting insight to Snyder & Blache
there is a year or two contingency after the cba ends..not sure how it works but it basically prevents dan from buying manning as his starter and brady as his backup...
but im with you..all dan needs is to make it to the big dance and people will love him. |
Re: Interesting insight to Snyder & Blache
He gave me a shotgun, and made me cry............I took the job.
THAT's the best |
Re: Interesting insight to Snyder & Blache
I still think GW should have gotten the job...but Blache is not at fault for anything. It was Vinny & Dan who kept GW in the dark about where he stood.
From the sound of it GW didn't have much of a chance for the job right from the start. And that's fine. You have to surround yourself with people that YOU trust and can work with. But why didn't they just cut him loose rather than dragging it out? That's my only gripe with that process.
That's pretty much how Snyder operates now. He said a few months back that one of his biggest mistakes was hiring Spurrier after about a 15 minute conversation and he never wants to make that mistake again. All he asked Spurrier about, supposedly, was football. But then Spurrier came on and his wife was unhappy here and wanted to go home, Spurrier didn't like working extra hours, etc. so now Snyder and co. asks lots and lots of questions beyond just football. That said, much of this stuff he should have already known about Williams. It's not like he just walked in off the street. |
Re: Interesting insight to Snyder & Blache
blah..lets just hire charley weiss and get it over with..cmon..you know you want to

Re: Interesting insight to Snyder & Blache
That's funny because I think Wise is the worst of the Post's sports columnists. First he was trying to be Tony Kornheiser Jr. and that failed miserably. Now I guess he's trying to be Mr. Insider. I hope it works out better for him.
That said it was a good article.
Sally Jenkins is by far the worst. Her article about the draft was the worst opinion piece I've ever read. I'd rather be locked in a room with Al Franken and Rush Limbaugh than read her crap. Good insight on Blache and Snyder from Wise. |
Re: Interesting insight to Snyder & Blache
Blache is no Greg Williams. Let's see how our defense does this year. And it won't be pretty going 3 and out all the time...
