Re: The importance of Zorn, look at Hasselbeck!
Does 2 games even equal correlation?

Re: The importance of Zorn, look at Hasselbeck!
Of course not and even if the full season plays there is no way to eliminate lurking variables.
I think it's finally the system JC is best in, and one in which he understood in college. but, I will also say I think Zorn has a lot to do with this. This is what JLC from the Post had to say:
Let's take out all of the great stuff JC did, and just look at what he didn't do. Dude has made, what, 20 starts? That's it. And so far this year he has curbed the biggest problem that plagued him in his 10 starts last year: Turnovers. Two games. No picks. No fumbles. That's over a span of 63 attempts, peeps. Let's not forget that. Remember a year ago when it took like 10 weeks for a WR to catch a TD pass? Well, Moss has two of them already this year, and none was bigger than the 67-yarder Sunday. Ten different Skins have already caught passes from JC this season.
I agree that Hasselback should not be blamed and has not forgotten his lessons from Zorn. I agree as well with the comment that we need a longer-term picture of JC in order to clearly perceive the nature of his Zorniness. I strongly agree with the comment quoted above. JC so far has cut out the turnovers. And wideouts actually catch touchdown passes (who knew?). A kickin' defense and a qb who guards the ball well is a venerable recipe for Redskin success. If JC keeps up the turnover-stinginess we will win many games. |
Re: The importance of Zorn, look at Hasselbeck!
If they lose to the Rams which is a possibility since the Rams owner basically said someone is gonna get fired if we don't win then the Seahawks might be in trouble. Losing to the -49'ers and the Rams means the fat lady is backstage.
Agree 100%. Imagine Campbell throwing to Brandon Lloyd and a tackling dummy and that's probably what it's like for Hasselbeck.
Or take 3 xanax bars and play frogger on the highway at 5:00 pm. Matt Hasselback has no help right now, but for now I'm willing to tip the scales in favor of Zorn being a great QB coach. Then again did anyone see a quote from Jason Campbell in the paper saying that Zorn was making stuff to complicated? |
Re: The importance of Zorn, look at Hasselbeck!
wow...you guys are taking this waaaaaaay too seriously.

Re: The importance of Zorn, look at Hasselbeck!
Let's talk about Matt's sister in law. Elizabeth Hasselbeck might be a dumb b*tch, but damn she's hot. Maybe Tim is the lucky one afterall.

You make it sound like Matt Hasselbeck married a troll. |
Re: The importance of Zorn, look at Hasselbeck!
Hasselbeck didn't just suddenly forget how to play quarterback. He's got no help, that's his problem.
Which means that the real secret formula to success in the NFL is to have a rock solid offensive line, a number of talented receivers, and a good QB and QB coach! Throw in a good defense and now we're talking Lombardi Trophy! Brilliant! This is brand new information! Someone get Zorn on the phone and let him know. |

Homer: Uh-huh. Lisa: It's just a stupid rock. Homer: Uh-huh. Lisa: But I don't see any tigers around, do you? [Homer thinks of this, then pulls out some money] Homer: Lisa, I want to buy your rock. (could use it in the AIG thread as well, I suppose)
I love reasoning that has lots and lots of room to breathe! |
