Re: Why won't Sarah Palin just go away?
Wouldn't you want to respond to attacks and allegations against you? I would hope so.
Why is this even a big deal? Everyone wants to get her side of the story, and I'm sure she want to give her side of the story. She's been the focus of the media over the last week since the election. There's nothing wrong w/ defending yourself a little, right? |

Her 15 minutes are up, time to go home. |

Mark Foley is in the news again. Why isn't anyone talking about it?

Re: Why won't Sarah Palin just go away?
It's not that big a deal. We're a "here and now" society. She just finished being a part of one of the most historic presidential races of all time. I think a lot of people, even those who have chosen to displace all of their life's frustrations onto her, may want to know just a bit more before she fades away and a new face is presented before us. It's her perogative to stay in the spotlight as long as it's pointing towards her.

Some people should just know when to shut up and let stories fad away. |

I thought this summed things up well

Palin reminds me of the William Hung of politics. She won't go away and she doesn't realize the joke's on her. |
Re: Why won't Sarah Palin just go away?
As an independent who can't see myself voting republican in my lifetime... I hope Palin is around for a very long time. I hope she is the presidential nominee for the next 4 election cycles. Here's the thing, when someone can't tell you a single thing they've read in the last several months, when they can't name a court decision outside Row and when they don't know what the fuck Africa is... oh yeah, that's who I want batting for the other team every time, all the time.

Palin reminds me of the William Hung of politics. She won't go away and she doesn't realize the joke's on her.
Oh yes, the Governor of the largest state in the Union and an expert on energy is a joke... She has more experience than the President-Elect. |
Re: Why won't Sarah Palin just go away?
Certainly, she has more experience laying on her back. I wonder if she has "on the knees" experience everyman can get behind.
