Okay, I'll ask the obvious question...
If Hairston did such a great job with their DEs, why did he get fired?
Its not like they just fired him. They fired the entire defensive staff from DC on down. |

Chad Morton has been hired as "coaching administrator" (whatever that means) for the Packers Start a new thread, are they going 3-4? |

Start a new thread, are they going 3-4?
Of course I read the link, and still don't see the why you mention Chad Morton. But, yeah.... The group includes: outside linebackers coach Kevin Greene, safeties coach Darren Perry, defensive line coach Mike Trgovac, cornerbacks coach Joe Whitt Jr., strength and conditioning coordinator Dave Redding, special teams coordinator Shawn Slocum, assistant special teams coach Curtis Fuller, offensive quality-control assistant John Rushing, defensive quality-control assistant Scott McCurley and coaching administrator Chad Morton. Maybe I should ask...do you know who Chad Morton is? Everybodies runs the 3-4 its the coolest :laughing-
The 3-4 question was actually related to your comment about Palermo suggesting a scheme change |

I don't think he meant anything that drastic. If figure he'll turn the DE loose with an upfield pass rush more often. It seemed to me that their were very few occasions when the DEs lined up wide and just pined there ears back and pass rushed. And yeah KR/PR Chad Morton who spent i believe 1 season with the Skins is an entry level coach with GB. I didn't think this was news? :food-smil |

Last year we had the same interior lineman and arguably less talent at DE but under Blache's scheme and coaching we had more sacks. |
