I doubt he can make much of a difference though as long as WP is the coach. Just creates that much more of a muddle.

Reeves to Dallas once again shows what a forward thinking owner has the power to do. Wouldn't it make SOME sense for Snyder to offer a similar role to Holmgren? He doesn't have to move to DC, make a huge time commitment to the team away from his family, hell he doesn't even have to show up on gameday! But an experienced coach/gm, an expert in the WCO, with one of his pupils (Zorn) and someone he previously worked with (Cerrato) just seems like it makes a ton of sense to bring in. Unless Snyder is REALLY struggling financially (I've heard some rumors to that end) a couple million for a 1 year consulting contract doesn't seem outrageous.

You serious? If we brought Holmgren in as a "consultant" Here are 10 threads we'd have within the first hour

1. Why is Vinny Still Here?
2. Too Many Cooks In the Kitchen?
3. Is Holmgren the next HC/GM?
4. Why not Cowher?
5. Snyder Proves Hiring Zorn Was a Mistake
6. Who's In Charge?
7. Lipstick on the Burgundy and Gold Pig
8. Holmgren Won't Matter Because We're In Cap Hell
9. Can Holmgren play DE?
10. Holmgren Already Failed Once as an Executive

16. Vinny, Danny, and Holmgren Suck!
17. Colt Brennan should be QB, GM, and Owner.

18. Mike Holmgren sleeps through alarm, misses meeting
19. Zorn mentioned getting a big, ugly or two...did he mean Holmgren?
20. Holmgren and Zorn should just switch jobs. Also, Colt Brennan

Yes.

In fact, Mike Holmgren has a twin brother. He and his twin, golfer Craig Stadler, were separated at birth.

I actually thought that Holmgren "resorbed" (hope someone gets that reference) his twin in the womb and thats why he is so big.

My Dad could pass for Holmgren's brother. Minus about 200 pounds though.
