You had time to update with pretty colors...but couldn't find the time to update your prediction of Evans to New Orleans...

Definitely not. I just had some time between classes.

A prediction I'm still standing by.

Re: Post Your Draft Board

My Draft board according to our needs

1. Aaron Curry OLB
2. Andre Smith T (he maybe stupid but he's young and the best all around T, IMO)
3. Jason Smith T (why behind the other smith, because this one has limited run blocking experience in college, Knee injuries)
4. BJ Raji DT (a huge force DT, reminds me a little of fat Albert Hayne$worth)
5. Brian Orakpo (very good pass rusher, that should stay at DE)
6. Michael Crabtree (Reminds me of Jerry Rice and TO in one, but TT offense and 40 time is a little bit of a question mark)
7. Eugene Monroe T (i'm a little cautious of this guy, I don't know y, but i am)
8. Aaron Maybin DE (very good pass rusher, but run defender, not really)
9. Knowshon Moreno RB (he'll be around when we pick, but the need for oline doesn't allow us to get him, plus i thought he ran a 4.3-4.4 fourty not a 4.6)
10. Michael Oher T (very good T who can play G, but gets sloppy, a little work with Buges and he'll be great)
11. Jeremy Maclin WR-RS (great speed guy like a steve smith but taller and hester fast, but he'll be gone by the time we pick, plus WR isnt an immediate need compard to other positions)
12. Rey Maualuga LB (is troy polamalu at LB, very very good LB with a few injury issues, definitley wouldnt mind us taking him at 13, and moving him to OLB for the year)
13.Larry English OLB-DE (looks a lot like Tsuggs, 2 time MAC defensive player of the year)
14.Robert Ayers DE (just started starting this year, and the DE's at Tennessee last year weren't that great, but he can definetly play)
15. Eben Britton T (very good pass protector, I don't see why we don't trade down and get him)
16. Tyson Jackson DE (is slow getting to QB but good run defender, basically a young philip Daniels)
17. Brian Cushing OLB (very good OLB, but gets injured a lot)
18. Clay Matthews LB DE? (just started playing this year, did decent when i saw him play, but not worth a first rounder to me at all)
19. Beanie Wells RB (isn't the kind of RB we need but is good, still wouldn't take him tho)
20 A. Alex Mack C (everyone loves this guy, and some say the best center in years)
20 B. Max Unger C/G/T (just a tad behind mack, only problem is that he never handed the ball to the QB, he always shotgun snapped it)
21. William Beatty T (he's alright, but ill pass on him, experts either say pretty damn good, or 2nd rounder)

The first post of the thread says draft at 13, so including the likes of Eugene Monroe, Aaron Curry, and others kinda defeat the purpose of the thread(Because they will be long gone by the time we pick).
Preferably players we're expected to look at for the 13th pick
1- Aaron Curry
2- Brian Orakpo
3- Jason Smith
3b-Eugene Monroe
3c- Michael Oher

Anyone else we should trade down for:

Rey Maualuga
Alex Mack
Clay Matthews
Brian Cushing
Max Unger
Connor Barwin
Knowshon Moreno

we should hold off on maulauga and draft offensive line...to be honest...I'd rather have big daddy BRANDON SPIKES in next years draft. I think he will be better anyways.

So would including 1.) Andre Smith-OT-#1 OT Pre-combine at 13 as you did. Post combine, "maybe". Lets hope.

Re: Post Your Draft Board

Just wanted to throw out there Maualuga won't fall below the 16th overall i.e. if he's on the board San Diego will be thrilled to take him.

... that said i guess a trade-down scenario w/ the Lions is probably a good idea. Not sure who will be available w/ the 20th and 33th(?) overall picks and more importantly whether guys taken here would be able to start. I guess it's hard for me to believe the "starting" caliber OTs will still be available at 20 (for example i think this proved to be the case in last year's draft as only the tackles taken in the top half of the 1st round went on to start); however we could probably get a decent LB starter like Matthews at 20 and then a center @ 33 who would be an immediate upgrade over Rabach. Mack or Unger will in all likelihood still be available there. The big thing is this all hinges on our acquisition of the best available RT in FA... Willis, statistically, is that guy. I don't understand why he's still on the market, in fact it worries me. Zorn knows him. He's been here and interviewed. He's young, big, strong and should have a better headstart on the scheme than any other FA. What the deuce...

It's just my overall board according to our needs, last year we had Glen Dorsey on our board, as the best player for us to get, but Vinny knew he wouldn't drop to us...its just a what if/for fun thing

A lot of people have forgotten about how bad our offense was last year, and we've done little about it so far this offseason. This Orakpo talk is ridiculous.

1st rd
Best OT available at #13. Hopefully Oher.

3rd rd.
Best C/G available. Hopefully Wood or Levitre.

I just realized that Percy harvin is capable of playing running back, and since we need a receiver and a speed back and a returner, why not harvin??

cause he's not a guarantee by a long shot, and that's the 4th or 5th highest need we have, and he's probably not going to be taken when we're on the clock due to other players available and team needs at those spots.

He's basically a lot like Reggie Bush except he actually knows his place. Then again this is coming from the same guy that said Brian Westbrook can't be an effective runner.
