If we trade up for Sanchez, me first!
There would be a long line for that first spot. I just have trouble seeing this kid being an NFL star...am I the only one? Trade up for Stafford, that I could see in terms of wanting more of a sure thing, but not Sanchez. |
Re: Peter King says Browns and Skins discuss pick swap
You are correct, King has been right before. I just mentioned his errors to forestall the panic which seemed to be breaking out.
Someone call Vinny and find out what is up. The suspense regarding potentially stupid moves is killing me.
Wow a reporter right about Snyder throwing the most money at the prize of the offseason. Is Peter King actually JLC? |
Re: Peter King says Browns and Skins discuss pick swap
This is awful what must this be doing to JC's confidence.

:laughing2 Yep...Sat. is looking like a night of hard drinking to obliterate the day's memories. BTW does anybody think Danny/Vinny are catching on to all the negative fan reaction surrounding the Sanchez deal? I mean shit even those who (wrongly) doubt JC's abilities aren't excited about this... |
Re: Peter King says Browns and Skins discuss pick swap
SS, if this deal goes down can you get us an address? I've a few bones to pick with the FO. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I have said in previous posts that I do think He has a chance to have a Kerry Collins type of career/level of success. That being said, I do not believe Stafford will be able to translate to the NFL. He strikes me as a Jamarcus Russell, Uses arm stregnth to force balls into places that will be picked off in the NFL, and doesn't always make good reads/judgements. Sanchez on the other hand may or may not translate to the NFL. But, the lack of experience almost assuredly says that he will not be ready to lead a NFL team for a long time. (multiple seasons) JC is our best shot right now and we have colt to groom as a project. We need to give JC all the tools to succeed. LINEMAN!!! |

Amen! I couldn't have put it any better. |
Re: Peter King says Browns and Skins discuss pick swap
Well drafting Sanchez at 13 is questionable, but I'd be ok with it, provided we are able to move Campbell for something solid and can make some other moves to get some more day 1 picks to fill needs.
Trading up to get Sanchez is very questionable, but I'd be ok with it, provided we (see above). But it's less likely we could do that if we trade up for Sanchez. But trading up to #5 is not likely going to be enough to get us Sanchez anyway, and besides haven't we learned not to get so worked up over every rumor that's out there. Or not? |
Re: Peter King says Browns and Skins discuss pick swap
Could we be trading up to grab someone else, like Orakpo?

Is it possible Campbell is done as a Redskin this year even if they aren't able to get Sanchez? |
Re: Peter King says Browns and Skins discuss pick swap
I agree with Smootsmack...this is a bunch of BS...the skins just want to guarantee that Sanchez will be taken before 13, so it increases the chance that a quality OT/LB/DE is still on the table...of course I am on medication right now...but ya gotta be positive!

We are going to take Mack with the #5 pick. We gotta take him because there is no way he's going to be there at #13.:) |

What is JC thinking right now???

You could be right. These GM's are worse than politicians. If we did move up, I'd want Orakpo, Monroe or Jason Smith and that could happen if we did indeed move up to 5. |

Mack at 13 is better than trading all of our picks for Cutler or Sanchez. You'll be saying I was right when Raback falls down and breaks a hip. |
