If the team was going bowling during training camp I might be saying WTF about this, but it's June. Nothing wrong with having some fun and building some team chemistry. This is the time of year to do these things.

I don't think it's a big deal at any point in the year. Teams sometimes do this kind of stuff during the regular season

I agree 100%. I mean yeah, its a game, we all sit in offices all day. Yeah, they get all sorts of time off in the offseason, I understand that. However, and I think alot of us who played organized football will agree, there are times where it still feels like a pain in the ass. Alot of times if you're having a rough time at work, even just 2-3 hours off to chill and do whatever can make a huge difference in how you approach the next day. Now I'm not saying they should be bowling, going out, ect all the time, but I think taking a day throughout the year is OK at any point... but thats just me.
