Re: Predict Redskins Stats
It's that time of the year. Predict how the Redskins, individually or as a team, will fare statistically in 2009.
I'll start: Campbell 3,350 yards, 20 TDs, 10 INTs Sacked 40 times for losses of 300 yards Brennan 8,500 yards, 99 TDs, 0 INTs Portis 1,350 yards rushing, 10 TDs 350 yards receiving, 0 TDs Moss 71 receptions, 1,100 yards, 4 TDs Cooley 80 receptions, 850 yards, 6 TDs Devin Thomas 25 receptions, 325 yards, 1 TD Malcolm Kelly 20 receptions, 250 yards, 3 TDs Antwaan Randle El 40 receptions, 480 yards, 1 TD Albert Haynesworth 40 tackles, 4 sacks Brian Orakpo 75 tackes, 5 sacks DeAngelo Hall 80 tackles, 4 INTs LaRon Landry 75 tackles, 3 INTs, 2 sacks Team Offense 13th overall 6th rushing 17th passing Team Defense 2nd overall 2nd rushing 3rd passing
You have Campbell throwing for 3350 yards, but you have the recievers catching for 3355. Where is the mystery 5 yards? Here is my guess, ARE takes an end around, passes to Fred Davis comming across the field on a shallow cross. He catches it for a gain of 5 yards and steps out of bounds while picking up a key first down during a 2 minute drill of the NFC Championship game. |

Yeah hate to burst your bubble but when you add up campbells yards to all your wide receiver yards thye dont match up campbell gets 3750 and the wr te rb and all them get like 4200 can you count
let's see randle el throws some reverse throws, CP throws 1, Brennan throws some against Detroit and KC in mop up situations. Finally Kelly plays CB and gets yards off the interceptions which the statistician decides to mark down as receiving yards for him. |
Re: Predict Redskins Stats
My prediction,
Low: 9-7 Middle: 10-6 High: 11-5 |
Re: Predict Redskins Stats
So no love for Mike Sellars this season? No TDs for him? I suspect he'll punch in a few, actually. And I think Rock will return at least 1 kickoff this year too.

Can you spell and use proper punctuation? |
Re: Predict Redskins Stats
I think Orakpo is a shoe-in for 10 sacks, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him get 12-14.
As for Thomas and Kelly, I feel you're projecting too low - I see them combining for 75 catches and 9 TD's. They will be our primary WR targets in the red-zone, especially Kelly who has GREAT hands. I also believe that Fred Davis will have 20+ receptions and 2 TDs. |
